  1. Missed opportunity for us today. We were lined up and primed but the energy all spilled north and fired up the storms there. We went from the great look below (with a N/E trajectory) to nothing within a few frames. Waynesboro proper had .35" before it folded. Just 3 miles east had .10 and nothing 3 miles further east.
  2. Wow but I guess those snow in July stories have been true all along.
  3. For some reason that name shows up on the wgal radar view. My love for animals made me gravitate to it though pillow is still more unique. I assume it is a very small town?
  4. Has to be P and something people can grow to like. Lol.
  5. I did not mean 7-8 today I meant for the month. They are already 6+ now. They just need 1" to get to 7".
  6. HRRR has another line coming up this evening but that is cautionary as to its validity.
  7. It's getting frustrating. I wonder what the non tropical storm record for qpf in a month at MDT is.
  8. More than likely the rain I was going to get is energizing areas to the north. The entire area that was once primed for heavy rain to my south is dissolving and shrinking.
  9. Not very good yet. Rates skipped around me so far. Maybe 1/10" so far. The area to the south seems to be faltering.
  10. I have a shot at 1" plus if that bulbous area south of Hagerstown slides over me. Probably slide a bit east of me though.
  11. The HRRR has that HGR to Martinsburg line moving N/E over Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin and Northern York/Lancaster counties.
  12. Time for obligatory "if MDT had 5.9" in first half of January" post. LOL. @Cashtown_Coop, aleet, aleet. May soon be time to get those people with mini lightning rods headed for the club. Getting might gray over here.
  13. Radar estimated over 1" now in the training area.
  14. That map only went out to Friday so missed some of your earlier rain. You are over 2" behind MDT! LOL. MDT has had more rain this month than many areas of Adams and Franklin have had for 2-3 months.
  15. Guessing the York county FFW is just for the top third of the county. But yea mother nature does not read AFD's.
  16. Not scientific but it seems as long as we stay in the H and H area and keep any major ridges at bay, we are going to have daily chances.
  17. SPC has much of that same area already in the lineup for tomorrow. SPC Tornado map is a bit east of the slight risk today but still low probability.
  18. Definitely training type behavior going on south of Lancaster right now. The cell near Todd, PA is aimed directly at the 'Burg though holding together is always a question. A bit surprised this much activity already.
  19. Several 3.5-4" areas N/W of Harrisburg, in Harrisburg, and south of Palmyra over the last 3 days. Good chance one of those areas goes over 5" 72 hours this afternoon.
  20. 100% agreed. Just noticed the CMC has a trough centered in New England in the mid 200's 20 degree differences in lows for Jul 22.
  21. Looks like a cell just popped S/E of Lancaster. Things are already lighting up around Paw Paw as well.
  22. In the mid 200's -low 300's the "coldest temps" are focused in BC, Canada. Plenty of 90's for days in the LSV and S/W PA. So its a heat wave even if not one that is record breaking. Too far out to stress over it. LOL.
