We keep one of those $300 mobile A/C units in our bedroom.

Would be interesting for someone to take their local gears temps from the last 15 days see where they are at using MDT's averages. Some like Cash and myself are going to be way below to the tune of -4 to -6 but some like Voyager and Training will probably be very close to average.

Definitely so far. The highs the last few days have been 4-8 degrees over but the lows have been close to 10 over. But MDT only getting down to 56 so far this month is crazy.

Not this year. Last year we were. FYI, MDT is officially +.2 now.

10:15, 76 and quite sunny. First day we have a chance to really get warm here. Just in time for severe.

It's a model discussion. I do not make half cocked, crazy statements most of the time. But yes on the GFS, today is the hottest day over the rest of the month. Euro as well over 10 days.

We have a great shot at a second consecutive Sept with no 90 degree days if MDT holds off today. Most Sept's have had 90 degree days when I parsed back about 20 years.

Let's hope Goofus has this one right. Euro concurs for how far out it goes. Euro is one giant 61-81 fest. Every day for several days.

30's/low 40's in Sept would do wonders for the Departures :-). Today would be the last day MDT could try to get 90 per that run.

Throrugh 330, 6Z GFS is a hodge podge of slightly below to slightly above normal. Nothing extreme. Bad news for the gun jumpers who thought Sept was a heat wave from this point forward but not great fall weather. 63 here this AM. Good thing the HIA has not worked its way over here.

No kuch when all of us are getting 15-1 ratios with a temp of 26 and mdt is in the 30's.

Our high for the day was 84...on the way down now. Pretty warm. Tomorrow is the last really hot day per the EC (next 10 days). The next 9 are a combo of slightly below, slightly above or close to normal as it pertains to high temps. A few low 80's days and a lot of highs in the 70's.

MDT is at normal for the month so no harm, no foul. New EC emboldens my hope that we end up near or below Normal two weeks from now. And this is using MDT's inflated numbers in the evening. Most local stations are still below normal for the month.
