it's similar to this AM. Very shallow warm as to depth it get into the North East. Probably washed away in a couple days.

GFS trying to set the ridge back up for warmer weather the second half of that period.

I did not read the AFD but model wise there is no indication of it being warm, if that means above average, the first 2-3 days of that period. That is out to the limits of the Euro and CMC.

Remember, those maps are not temp based they are percentage based. So for 2/3 of PA they are saying 55% Chance above, 45% chance below.

Negative departure/autumn feel people are going to like what the GFS is selling.

One thing I did note is that the GFS, HRRR, Nam and 3K are all quite rainy for the LSV this afternoon.

Not for Training of course :-). FYI, 80 is higher than any model had you getting to as last evening. Did look short term today. No extremes today so had to spend time on other stuff.

It surprised me but maybe my dates are off a bit. This was early Sept when it started here.

Isn't the PA justice system just a delight. You get taken before a DJ if you got caught pissing in the woods or murdered 10 people. The urinator is treated the same as the murder. And those DJ's are a real peach sometimes. I noticed this particular Maple tree showing some color two weeks ago so it was crazy early. I initially thought the specific branch was dying or something different than fall. .

MDT only hits 80, by 18Z, one more time on the full GFS run.

I meant low. They are at 71 last check which is the low for the day so far. One more degree and we have a pre midnight low.

We did not spend all the money on the FV3 just for normal temps.

May see some 5" or higher totals in MD now. Non stop down there.
