  1. I am sure one of the ensemble members will show something more interesting so Blizz may be around with some better news eventually.
  2. Nothing officially but post frontal snow flurries could always happen.
  3. 12Z GFS keeps the same ole going through the whole run. Short term troughs drop in every now and then but the timing of them coincides with Colds fronts trailing off lows that cut way to our west. The general UL flow continues to revert back to coming from the South West allowing the cutter parade to continue. There are some balls of energy rotating through the S/E US but they never come close to phasing with the primary Northern Stream.
  4. We are as well. It puts the wind chill at 24 here.
  5. I was just out and bundled up. No wind and its a t-shirt day but wind is indeed wintery.
  6. The ones I read are not always snowy. They are just akin to reading a horoscope.
  7. Seasonal... Cold. Wet and white. Cannot miss! Thank you trusty farmers almanac.
  8. White Christmas....so you are saying there is a chance?
  9. I think Pillow has one day where the sun never comes up...they are the Barrow of Central, PA.
  10. I thought about her but did not want to Cashtown to reply "Younger" or something like that.
  11. Still early. Winter may not end up being a Kim Lemon. Could be a Christine Ferreira.
  12. If you start doing PBP's on each HRRR run, the thread may still succeed?!
  13. She is a Susquehanna Valley stalwart. Will be missed. WGAL has several which may retire in the near coming years,
  14. The fall thread may not match the summer thread in page count. Ha.
  15. Yea, I am just talking PBP's and not winter in general. If a warm first week of December happens that is just one week. The law of "cold averages" would be working against us at that point as by then we would have had a lot of below normal days. Seems we rarely get more than 2-3 weeks of BN at a time.
  16. Low placement made a big jump North West. The ridge seems like it may be an issue either way right now.
  17. Warm Thanksgiving, chilly most other times over the next week. No real snow threats for the LSV. The 384 cutter is in the Mid West now (GFS). Warm up at the end of the Euro and in the mid 200's of the GFS as the SER sets up for a bit as well as the extreme cutter.
