    Quite cold the AM of Wed the 22nd which is the first day it gets below freezing again at MDT... after this Monday AM.

    Super torch on the 12Z GFS is more Thur and Fri than Sat now...for next weekend. 60's at 9Z here.

    Its out farther on pivotal...but through next weekend meaning into the weekend...a full week from today.

    Only one night at or below freezing on the 12Z GFS panels through next weekend. One thing this does is limits any chance of typical ice skating scenes on ponds this winter (yet again). Having nothing frozen over late into Dec. That is one BIG difference from our visions of winters past...especially in movies.

    Maybe, but I thought I read the cold is back after 240? Hemisphere wise its certainly much better Christmas week than previous, real cold is much closer to us, but its still in the mid 40's Christmas day.

    Post 240 (which means GFS when talking Op's), if you put the 2M map into motion, note the cache of cold air in Canada and the far Northern US is not exactly moving directly South East. Its more of an ESE direction. So I personally do not see the hounds of winter anywhere on the GFS. Its disappointing a bit. At least there will be cold air nearby to tap...but nothing cold for us on that whole run. The trough is very broad.

    I have never seen this movie. Will have to watch it. My favorite scene from him was in the Police Squad movies where he plays Umpire. It's not only funny, it strikes very true in the emphatic way some Ump's play up strikes.

    If you do not have luggage or want to pick your seat. Nor can you change your flight plans without buying the "change rights".

    Times vary but they fly to Sanford, Florida every Monday and Friday and sometimes additional days around busy times. Up until last year you had to walk out on the tarmac to get in the plane but they have a gate now. Before the gate, the person who checked in your bags also came out and pushed the stairs up to the plane as well as came back in the scanned tickets. It's a big boy plane though. 737 I believe. Seats 100+.

    That gas station outside the airport is usually the cheapest in town. Brings all the trucks in and inflates the temps.
