  1. LOL. We are at the best rates of the year (close/tied). The grass is 3" high and its well on its way to being covered. It may not officially be 3" of snow but we are approaching 1" in the grass now with the sticky snow piling on top of each other. A good 1/2" in the last 15-20 min.
  2. The latest HRRR has almost all the Northern and Central LSV getting in the snow when rates comes through later today.
  3. Most schools around here are closed today otherwise there would be some anxious Superintendents right now...swearing at their zone forecasts.
  4. The sun angle crew is taking it on the chops today :-).
  5. Might slide off. LOL. I could measure the snow flake sizes changes on the down to my demise.
  6. Did you see the pics on the MA board...from Middletown (MD), etc? It a real snow storm down there.
  7. Started as slop here as well. Wait until the column cools before throwing in the towel.
  8. I am notoriously slow for roads to cave here so I bet just up the hill from me there are plowing activities getting ready to start. I have a sloppy 1/2" on the grass.
  9. Here is I81 solidly in the LSV (not far from the Cumberland/Franklin County line) so we do have heavy snow in the LSV right now.
  10. Saw this pic from Winchester (in the MA thread). Accumulating on the road.
  11. While at the same time, mowing in the snow is BOSS.
  12. I will be impressed if your mower starts. Mine would not even with adding some gas to the plug. (Not at 33).
  13. LOL, you are making me feel bad. My grass has about 1/4" on it now so punting mowing this week.
  14. My wife is just north of Frederick and its puking snow down there right now. The fields at Antietam are apparently snow covered.
  15. Mulch covered, grass caved, and roofs partially caved with Sn+ and 34.
  16. @paweather, you have a WWA just to your Northeast. NW MD now has a Warning.
  17. Similar to living on the wrong side of the tracks?
  18. LOL. I wonder if we can classify Fairfield as the LSV and close the deal on people who said the LSV would see snow (in a positive manner).
  19. Keeps changing from parachutes to a lighter snow/graupel mix here. When the parachutes start, it starts accumulating on the sides of the roads but then melts after a few min. But we officially have accumulating snow mid day in mid April.
  20. The salt trucks are rolling for my township. It's starting to accumulate a bit on my front porch. Mod snow/graupel mix.
  21. Mulch has caved here. Its a snow/graupel mix.
