They probably have to pay a lot to staff for a private gathering. Maybe I show up with some Dr scrubs on and say I forgot my tickets, I had a late operation and I just need a break, can ya give a Doc a break?
I love Animal Kingdom as well. Just not during the summer. LOL. The walk between attractions is painful. That short stint going backwards on the coaster gets me now as well. LOL
I just went to look at HP hours in case I wanted to try and go next week and it says they are closed on Sunday. FYI. Maybe you are part of a group they are letting in but still thought I would mention. I am going to be in the Hershey area next week and they are closed then as well.
Yea, Sunday seems warm anyway you hedge it right now. I was actually going to mention that I had not been to HP since the "80s." Busch Gardens gets all my business. :-) . Last time I was there people were lining up for the Super Dooper Looper and puffing out their chests coming off after surviving it! The ride that "got me" was the round ride that used gravity and centrifugal (or centripetal) force to keep you pinned on the walls. Blech. I could not make it through 1/4 of it now....up chuck!
EC is mid 70's for MDT on Sunday. Looks like it is setting up another backdoor situation for Monday.
Edit-Mid 60's Mon at MDT on the EC. Colder than the GFS!
I saw the heavier stuff up in Lititz. It is raining pretty good here again. Looks like it will be on and off into the evening...more off after this next band. If this were drought time I would be ecstatic the front over performed.
@paweather, the GFS is rolling. I just feel there may be a flake or two for Myra at some point in the LR. Either that or maybe that feeling is lunch hunger.
Not a lot of interesting weather at the moment...Nam does have the front getting down to near Paw Paw on Saturday. Then Mid 70's for highs on Sunday. Nam is always a bit cool so probably low 80's in reality as to what the Nam is forecasting.
I think mine would have as well were it not for being under 1-2" of snow for a day. It actually shrunk back or at least did not grow much. Still green where I have grass but not growing much right now. Just checked it this AM. I have a lot of areas where I am still trying to grow again from a bad drought a few years ago and they are not growing at all.
I am glad I am not the only one behind. I know the folks in the Ohio Valley said they were way behind. I look up on the mountain and its January brown with a sprinkle of some other types of trees that have a bit of green now....just not the predominant maples and oaks. My neighbor has a cherry blossom like tree and it is just now blooming.
If I needed some Spring Training, I should head over that way. I will admit that I have have never been headed into May with just one or two mows in. Mowing may just be 5-6 month dealio this year.
You are going to be double digits ahead of me soon. I am out until at least next week. Will be going into May with 1 or 2 mows. Still not sign of leaves on the maple and oak trees.
