  1. NOAA throws the MA forum under the bus...all good here.
  2. MDT is showing 77 though they could have had an inter hour 78. Looking at 18Z runs I am punting on MDT having a high temp on Sat. So in my opinion it is tomorrow or bust for an 80. Though tomorrow seems likely and that 84 record is in play.
  3. I am guessing some read your post and said "That poster is always a winner with me".
  4. If Pillow does not reach 80, any other observations are moot. You are the prospective new record keeping spot if we can get it out of the HIA @ MDT.
  5. 75 and sun here. Probably not going to go much higher for me. Our holder of the records, MDT, is 77.
  6. LOL. Not at all trying to correct just remembered myself since Midnight highs have killed many record colds as well.
  7. 68 nooners here. Looks like today will be a no go for 80 here. Tomorrow will be the best chance and it could be close. Sat will depend a lot on timing but seems less likely to me.
  8. Remember that the temps Friday AM can count as the low for Friday and the temps Saturday afternoon/Evening can count for the Saturday low.
  9. I stared to feel a bit of uneasiness when the Rangers almost got a second goal in quick succession but otherwise, it was a dominating performance. Surprise players in goal for both teams. The Wayne Gretzky thing was almost humorous. The Caps took his camera time away from him.
  10. It varies on whether the early or later front passage works out but I would say 11AM-5PM. The Nam is the latest I saw at 1-5PM. It's not looking ideal unfortunately.
  11. 53 and quite foggy this AM. Looks to me like it will probably rain for a few hours especially the farther north you go. I think your bigger issue is the temps. If the earlier front passage comes to fruition, it could be dropping temps and breezy most of the day.
  12. Wayne Gretzky paying dividends. Talking the Caps into two goals.
  13. Was not sure what "as a scratch" meant but guessing this highlight?
  14. If Mad Elf is out, its a great night there.
  15. Additional days below normal at MDT before end of October. The HIA is always a worry but sticking with it. Counting on 2-3 by this time next week.
  16. This is mildly interesting for a slow day. Rainy Friday. -Dumass
  17. We are doing great PBP for this fast paced weather day!. Clouds are breaking over here and up to 71.
  18. Here is the EC's forecast for today at 18Z. Wide spread mid 70's in the LSV. It continues to run anywhere from 4-8 degrees too high on fairly frequent occasions. At 1PM MDT was 69, LNS 70 and HGR 65.
  19. Saw a peek of sun about 30 min ago but still mostly cloudy and 68. I think we make 70 but not much else unless the clouds break. MDT at 71.
  20. Now that is a damn funny post! Spot on! That should have been my reply prior to any apologies.
  21. It can be a valuable source of info with all the sources coming in, sort of like an aggregator (popular online one is Fark), if you can sift through the drivel. I sometimes try to throw out comments to keep things informative vs. vile but I failed today when someone mistook me for some guy named Dumas (they spelled it wrong though).
  22. Been watching the HRRR on and off since yesterday and it has raised your predict a couple degrees to 72, from 70 yesterday, and then drives you down into the low to mid 50's tonight. Windows open.
