    Mow #1 commencing soon except some of the front...need rain on the ground before I mow that. If the rain drops the ball this weekend, it will probably be the only mow in April.

    From what I have seen, Franklin and Adams were possibly a couple of the coldest counties in PA this AM. We were 15-20 degrees cooler than some of these readings Chesco mentioned.

    MDT did not hit 86 today...may have hit 85. High of 83 here.

    I have never had an occasion where the AC was not on sometime in April and usually in March. If the house temp is over 70, which means outside temps 65 or over, it is on.

    There is the paweather 540 line on south of Myra on April 29th. When you want the best data and answers, head right for the 384 map!

    I was hesitant to say that if it stays in the 60's on Sat despite the way above average lows. I guess by Sat AM we will have a clear picture on that though. Long range GFS wise I do not think we get anywhere near breaking the April record but that could change at 18Z. LOL. Only 4-5 more days above 70 after this weekend and half a dozen 30's or near low.

    Right now this year is at the 13th hottest April ever....just a tad ahead of two years ago. This does not take into account normal or average temps just raw temps. Guessing it moves up into the top 10 through the next 3-4 days though it will then go down a bit for a few days. The caveat for this is all the other months have late April already baked in...when it sometimes tends to be warmer though it is possible Early April is the warmer side of the month this year.

    Ha. A couple nights near freezing next week but I doubt you hard core guys even shut your windows.

    CMC the sturdier of the two qpf maps for this weekend. GFS less in Western and Central LSV.

    GFS wise, it is a lot cooler as to highs this weekend. 60's on Sat and low 70's on Sun. Lows are higher though.

    Yea the lows Wed AM were quite a bit high. It was degrees higher here.

    Looks like Cashtown was as well. It is only 67 here now. Your 55 is 3 more than MDT!

    D0 expanded out past the LSV now and moderate drought is at the southern border of York and Lancaster counties at the M/D line. We have to hope for a wetter summer than many of the past several.

    EC more robust west of PA but does get us some rain. Bn temps a couple days next week but not near as cold as its earlier cousins.

    We are 78 here which is hot enough.
