  1. There is a pocket of 30's North and NW of Harrisburg. Some reports in the LSV are in the mid 50's! 54 just to my west.
  2. That would put a serious dent into the mowing wars.
  3. I am not sure if the norms are off a base set of years or longer term. As of right now the country as a whole is doing "ok". Our issue is that we would usually be stocking up on precip to prepare for the real hot season and it is not happening. Texas and the immediate states to their North are the worst areas in the country right now (Cont. 48).
  4. https://pa.water.usgs.gov/apps/drought/ Above is a really cool USGS informational link for each county. It tracks the 4 indicators below. Adams county is in the red on Ground Water meaning they are in a Drought Emergency on that one indicator but overall, it is not too bad yet... though almost all LSV and MSV counties are in the yellow on at least one indicator. 90 Day Precip Surface Water Ground Water Palmer Index https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/climate-data/palmer-drought-severity-index-pdsi (What is the Palmer Index)
  5. While there, bring the Mav's some respect as well....they have lost all of it at this point.
  6. I think you mentioned that before but was surprised it was so high. On MDT's scale we (Code: Rou) finished March about ~2 to 2.5 degrees below normal with an average temp of about 39.5. I keep hastily recorded records, but they are close. I realize we are supposed to be below MDT but quite the disparity. Temp wise March was quite cool here.
  7. Yea, or if Irma had not tucked in over Punta Gorda and hit Tampa as expected.
  8. That is over a degree higher than average vs. MDT which was only 1.2.
  9. The final numbers for Ian are in. 156 deaths and the most expensive Hurricane in Florida history. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/weather/hurricane/os-ne-hurricane-ian-death-damage-nhc-report-20230403-ibv6yl2bpnfh3enxb5uk62c4se-story.html
  10. @Itstrainingtime the CMC read your concern about my area and fixed it up so we are all the same. LOL
  11. 12Z GFS still no more LSV freezes on the whole run...CMC has an Easter Freeze.
  12. 54 nooner...maybe the coolest nooner for several days.
  13. You are trying to rope me into talking about that valley again but not yet. LOL. Right now MDT is ~ 3" below normal for the year. 4" if you go back to the start of fall.
  14. A non-frosty 36 here this AM. The GFS does not have any freezing weather for the LSV through the entire run...backing off the Easter Nor'easter
  15. And wine. The problem is....they are yellow so if any dogs have ever been around, I am out from consuming them.
  16. Those things are like rooted cockroaches. Need weed killer or a snowstorm.
  17. 3 P's tonight. Potted Plants and Pets. Rgem has lots of upper 20's for the LSV. 18. And you are the one in the D0 right now. I suspect the DO (and possibly D1) expand this Thursday. Sun was baking the yard today despite the 40's temps. I almost assuredly will have to mow by next weekend.
  19. Agreed, got a lot of work done. Started menacingly at the grass but no rain means no mow. LOL. Lots of mulch down. If we have a mulch topper snow in April, it will be fresh mulch.
