It is down to 58 degrees here. That is some pretty incredible downdrafts and rain pulling air in from above. Getting faily heavy rain but server wise, it missed us mostly to the south. I am just here for the rain so I am very satisfied.

That "acid chart" JNS posted showed that it was fairly good for H-Burg and as you suggested, for us, it is the gold standard.

I think those SPC maps try to make good live estimates based on all the data they have. But I am not an expert on that....

We missed all of that. We got about 1/2" rain (HGR has close to 1 1/2")

Is this what you are looking for....between 40 and 50 closer to 50. Pretty darn high.

Rain aplenty here which is great rain on rain action after Friday. No winds or other severe issues yet.

Yep, I was thinking it was more for model verification that to suggest it was right. Convection is convection though....I am not counting my drops until they are on the ground. The 3K was splitting prior to 12Z in defense...it is insisting.

The alternate radar has not been too shabby the last week...at least for central and southern LSV

Mostly on its own but the 3K has a dry frontal passage for some of the LSV. Has been predicting this for more than one run now.

HRRR has some high straight line like sustained winds in small batches. Calm after the front passes.
