Check the radar over the last 60 min and watch what went wrong here. LOL. We did get .01" and actually a few hail pellets. Maybe that same area of cells you mentioned clips me.

Yea, it only takes a matter of days or maybe a week with no rain to ditch the grass when it is getting full sun. We have only had 1/4" of rain since Aug 14th.

Like the GFS, the EURO out past 48 has recently had a penchant to white wash large areas with qpf when in actuality it was forecasting isolated or scattered cells. Here is hoping a stalled front and a new season change the tune
York Municipal Water customers now under water restrictions due to the level at Lake Redman. Well Drillers in Southern York County are overwhelmed with people's wells running dry. Some of this news is a bit under reported.
Both CXY and MDT have vacillated up and down from the peak over the last 30 main so may be near top as both stations reporting little to no clouds. MDT actually snuck a 94 in between readings/round up at some point earlier.
This RGEM map is a great example of how hard the forecast looks for the LSV on Friday. I have to get a roof on at a place, so it is a personal worry here.
