  1. Yea, no sun here. Looking at satellite there is a bit of clearing to my SW so probably some sun eventually. Not a uniform deck, more like billowing.
  2. Fairly thick clouds and 73 for noon. CXY fell one degree short of running their 80 streak to 6 days when they came in at 79 yesterday. CMC potentially frosty for colder LSV areas Mon and Tue night.
  3. I find that Old Fashioneds gets me in trouble especially with the Lux Cherries. Candy in a glass.
  4. Oh cool, we can do our places too. I just always say MDT because that removes the question of local temps especially if any kind of contest, etc....
  5. I actually think we (meaning MDT) get to 70 2-3 times next week. :-) All predicated on that storm. We get a raging SW wind the warm air is there to transport. If that storms flattens out or goes below us then my predict is toast.
  6. Alas, winter is on the way. Haha. A nice fallish weekend (temp wise) on tap.
  7. Balmy 64 here this AM. MDT got down to 66 so they will not break the record max min of 69 for today.
  8. 67 and variably cloudy around noon. Quite a bit cooler than yesterday. Cxy is down about 8 from similar time yesterday and MDT down 5 degrees.
  9. Not an expert on that myself but it seems to me we are on the south periphery of the ULL to our north but definitely precip up near the lakes if not frozen (and WV again wringing it out.)
  10. WV getting snow before us is probably a rite of passage into fall/winter.
  11. The way the model radar looked, it was mostly upsloping wringing out the atmosphere. Light, light showers.
  12. I am hoping for a line of showers overnight Friday and after random showers through the day tomorrow. The dew has been helping with the dry period (grass) but some rain would be nice. Some mesos's have snow showers in WV Sunday AM.
  13. Seems like most modeling right now scoots it by fairly fast then loops it over Maine and pushes it well west into almost South Central Canada. Nam and GFS have quite a nice area of snow associated with it.
  14. Phillipe going by to our East could give those North and East of us some concerns....storm winds up in the mid-section or Low Miss next week (which is why I think we spike up for a bit) and the EC shows signs of a transfer such that New England would get Nor'Easter type effects. If it were winter and cold, we would be watching models closely for next week.
  15. Looking that way so far except I still think we see heat for a day or two next week. Over 70 at least.
  16. Low of 51 this AM. The diurnal temp range's this week are really nice compared to the sometimes under 20 range we get stuck in during some of the summer. Had a 32 temp difference here yesterday. MDT's was 26 from yesterday to this AM. MDT sitting at a 10.5 AN departure as of this AM though like MJS and some other said, it will start getting chopped down quicky this weekend are the early part of next week.
  17. Mdt was at 79 and cxy 81 when I posted that. You leave your door open? It was still 75 here. Lol. Only down 4 from our high. (adjusted for the timeliness of the post)
  18. Darn impressive it is still in the 80's over much of the LSV with the sun basically not a factor anymore.
  19. We were partly cloudy much of the AM and it never really took off over here. Still plenty warm for early October.
  20. Not sure if dreary will be the word but this weekend looks up your alley! Hope you feel better.
  21. Only up to 78 here. Looks like MDT is doing 83 and CXY is surprisingly only at 84. Few WU readings of 87-89 in/near Reading.
  22. Some clouds around noon and only 72. Been slow to heat over this way today.
