Euro continues to not recognize any changes in the ridge position thus no clouds/rain next week making the records for these 3 days in jeopardy. In fact the Euro would risk the earliest first 100 day ever at MDT. Extrapolation for the 21st. The temp near MDT at 18Z on the 20th is a ginormous 27-degree difference between the Euro at 99 and the CMC at 72. Humidity percentage on the Euro is in the 30's while the CMC is in the 70's despite the DP being similar.

Canderson has them finishing about 70-92 and I say they (Red Sox) finish around 84-78

Since we are doing some real weathin'....0Z Euro vs. 12Z GFS for next week. Difference in ridge position on the GFS promotes a lot more clouds and showers in our neck being on the periphery and less "deep". Hot but not extreme like the Euro. A lot of 80's. Large differences in the NW US trough as well. GFS does eventually "dry out" later in the week and has some days in the 90's (heat wave level) in the 10 to 12 day extended level forecast.

GFS holding to its call. I will make an opinion right now that it no longer appears likely we see really hot weather this week...really hot meaning mid 90's. The cold front coming Friday has sped up from some runs a few days ago.

Just hit 60. Still very cloudy. EB Nooners. MDT only 63 near noon on a summer day with no rain. Impressive.

Not just the GFS anymore though GFS is a little cooler than most. Euro/Icon show mid to upper 70's at 18Z on Sat. CMC is low 80's so still the warm one. But the big change is that the 95-100 temps the Euro and CMC showed before are now gone on the CMC for the most part so just the Euro left there. The 18Z temp next Wed is 71 on the CMC (cloud induced)

Warm/AN but a not a heat wave unless MDT sneaks up to 90 a few days which is very possible. Just not the near 100 temps that the CMC was showing earlier. Not dry as a bone either looking at the whole week though no soakers. CMC and GFS both have some rain 2-3 days of the week (going beyond your Thursday comment.) This Friday looks favorable for many to get some rain though not enough IMO.

It is 56 degrees at 9AM only 4 days from being 1/6 of the way through Summer.

CMC has punted the heat wave now as well (though still has a couple days in the low 90's). And look at this Sat predict from the GFS.

Hershey has lost their buffer. One bounce and their season could be over now. They have to get the injuries out of their head and play as one team without the other players. Their offense is not nearly as potent right now. If I suited up, one bounce and I am in the hospital or worse.

The Bears scored with 49 seconds left fwiw....to make the whole thing way worse giving up the tying goal 17 seconds later. Bears issue is the injuries. Hopefully they get Dube and Frank back.

The GFS is basically punting any heat wave for the next week. I agree the Euro is frequently too hot though in this case the CMC was broiling as well.

12Z GFS only had 2 days above 90 at 18Z for its entire run....let's see if it hold serve against the broiling hot CMC and Euro "heat domes". This Sat highs in the low 70's and lows in the 50's on the 12Z GFS. 18Z has mid to upper 80s for Thur and Fri before some rain arrives late Friday. 75-80 for highs Sat....sweet Chamber day.

ITT has already banged 2-3 90's. GFS says no heat wave until late June which is a bit surprising.

GFS has fortunately lessened the possibility of a bad position of an Atlantic ridge which yesterday was showing a very hot period later mid-June. Meanwhile....potted plant watch in early Mid-June for Bradford?
