Next week may feature the most windows open in LSV August history. An embarrassment it is still Met summer. May see some locations not break 70 for highs a couple days. 30's watch for colder locales.

That was 90's. 2024 is currently number 3 as to the warmest summer ever but indications point down. Could drop out of the top 10.

FWIW, August 2023 had only one day that reached 90 and it was only 90. So, our current streak is nothing to crow too much about. But the 90's for the summer total is over as to any records. Still 5 away from even being in the top 10. The immediate climate changed from July to August and limited how sensational this summer was going to be.

Every model I looked at, except the EC, says it is not even close to 90 so will be an interesting sub plot to watch.

IF MDT does not scarf up a 90 tomorrow, we could have a fairly unusual run of no 90's.
