Option 1 because, as that Longer Ranger forecast showed, we could be in for a 2–3-week dry spell if we miss out this weekend into Monday. Most of us just got pulled off the drought monitor but we need it to rain occasionally. LOL.

George Constanza wanted to go away for a few days, so he left his car at work under the thought that his bosses thought he was working. He forgot to account for the bird droppings and flyers people were putting on it.

4-5 days of mostly solid sunshine. And probably 2-3 more. 4" of rain then nothing for over a week is not ideal.

MDT only made it to 81 or 82 today so another VERY BN day will be on the books. Depending on the second half of the month, MDT is in play for a BN month. They will probably be BN as of tomorrow AM.

The airport people go to when they want to parachute. Rumor has it that it used to be the lush lands of green grass and lots of mowing, but this summer has been a bit different. They also have a museum there detailing the history of ice creaming making in Lancaster County.

A dewy 54 degrees this AM. Grass people debate whether dew helps maintain moisture in the soil, but I guess it cannot hurt. Much of it does dry on the blade. Nearing mid-Month, MDT stands just .7 AN with the mean temp for the month down to 77.1 placing it as a somewhat pedestrian (especially recently times) 35th warmest Aug through the 12th.
