Yea, we have folks getting brown water around here so the water table is regressing fast. Certainly not a drastic drought but fairly bad. -

Some areas to the S/E of Erie have received over 6" of rain since noon.

3K Nam has handled the Lake Erie storms well. Really wish they would make it down to us. Are you in the D1 drought area now? its close to you. In my back yard we are officially 10" below normal for rain counting May, June and July as of today. I lived through some of the terrible Florida droughts/wildfires and this is topping them all. Never thought I would see a double digit deficit over a 75 day period.

Yea, the humidity there is relentless and it feels even worse there, to me, even if the humidity here is higher. But SO many people in Florida think I need to plow snow all year and stuff like that. They cannot believe that it gets hotter here than there.

I was at Gifford Pinchot for lunch today. In the shade it was fine. Did not get in the water. Actually was not that busy. Thought of you but guessing if you went to the beach it was on the other side of the lake. Saw the walk around the lake is 9 miles!

Today at least the humidity seems too low to meet the guidelines here.

We are close to rock bottom counting 1/100th and 1/10th inch rainfalls. LOL.

The yellows did die off. Pretty decent general rain but think we end up around 1/10" inch. Re: under trees its totally dry. Have about half that right now.

Trust me I am looking at the radar for you as well. You are are my parched brethren. I would actually be happier if you got it and not me with that big course to deal with. I talk about it a lot but more worry for others with wells and farms, etc..

LOL. I have lived in York, Carlisle, Boiling Springs, and here along with 8 years in Philly/Upper Darby/West Chester. But this is probably our final resting place. Radar is looking better! We may break that 3" mark since May 1.

The Great Valley is wiping the rain out. More coming so not saying it does not make it here at all but even the previously wet HRRR has backed off.
