Its funny how consistently tropical systems get to the coast of East Florida and know "I better not go in there if I want to survive" and just stop. -

There is a very real possibility I will have more posts in 2020 talking about drought and heat vs. cold and snow. Mother Nature Dropped the ball. The least snowiest winter and warmest month both in the complete history of MDT.

NWS would have had to go with a blend of Euro and Euro to get it right his week. GFS and NAM were weak sauce.

Yep, we just get the weekend rain, no drought relief overall. Its supposed to rain at least 1" a week. LOL.

Euro definitely wins the temp forecast over there this week. We have not hit 90 since Monday but got give credit where credit is due for the overall area.

GFS looks like pretty bad conditions for eastern LI and and areas to the North and East from there. Does give Southern PA .5-1" of rain Fri, Sat and Sun combined.

We need it so bad I will take the risk and hope no one floods. That map seems to be 5" or less for everyone though I think the Euro map was a bit higher.

I think it is going to be fairly wet this weekend (at least progged to be). But I want that sweet, sweet tropical soaking though hopefully no one floods in the process.

Not a lot of time this AM but the Euro precip map for a week from now is loaded. I think GFS and many 'Cane models take the Trop storm east though.

Canderson has been throwing shade to all models this week, except the Hot Plate Euro, and has been right. He might be tuning up for a top prognosticator winter.

Now you are talking. I did not want to make it sound bad but double digits or bust. Although the once a year Nimble Giant from Troeggs gets a pass at 9%.

If someone asked me where Paweather lives I would drop the Mic and just say "I'm out" and this does not even include @pawatch who lives in a Gardentown which I originally thought was in Lancaster county but is up near Williamsport! LOL

This board would be hoping if we had a chance of a storm moving through the DelMarVa in the winter...like the Trop Storm could potentially do.

Its still a bit out in fantasy land. Not seeing how this becomes a major storm but rain producer is definitely in play.

Hopefully I am not bothering anyone with the tropical talk but this has potential to be a drought denter for many. EC op is now in play. Weak storm but 1-3" of rain for the LSV. Here is the total accums through the storm. Much of this is from the storm itself but some is prior.

I saw my neighbor out mowing the weeds a few days ago...the grass is all dead but stuff is still growing...and it looked like Pig-Pen. There was a cloud of dust surrounding him the whole time. Do not know how he was breathing. But yea anyone mowing now needs to move the deck up.
