  1. Well, that loss just killed the Birds. Most likely opening the playoffs on the road as a 5 seed. It's really simple as far as the final seeding goes. If the Cowboys win next week, the Eagles are the 5-seed. The 3-seed... The only way the Eagles can win the NFC East and hold the 3-seed in the postseason is if they beat the Giants in New York next week, and the Commanders somehow defeat the Cowboys in Week 18. If both teams finish the year at 12-5, or at 11-6, the Cowboys would hold the tiebreaker for the division crown. The Eagles are shutout now from getting the No. 2 seed because of a tiebreaking loss with the Lions, who are battling with Dallas for that spot in the final week of the season. The 5-seed... Short of a miracle in the season's final week, the Eagles will be playing a road game to open the playoffs at the winner of the NFC South division, which is looking like the Buccaneers even though they lost in Week 17. If they won that game, they'd then be playing either the Cowboys, 49ers or Lions on the road in the Divisional Round — should they still be alive.
  2. Pathetic...Cards march right down the field.
  3. Defense is horrible. They can't stop crap. Now only up 3, Cards w/the ball w/2:30 left in the 4th. This will really screw up my NYE if they lose....
  4. That's about right. Little too warm for my liking. Overcast/41F https://seatemperature.info/new-jersey-water-temperature.html
  5. Odd you say that. I've heard several flocks quacking overhead the past several days. Many late at night/overnight...thought I was dreaming. Clouds still here/43F
  6. Dallas is solid at home (7-0)they'll beat Det. Birds beat scrub Cards/Giants the final 2 games. SF lose to Rams final week. Piece of cake.... Still cloudy, 44F
  7. Speaking of football, hate to say it but you have to root for Dallas tonight vs Detroit if the Birds have any shot at the #1 seed/bye. This is great, rooting for Dallas and no snow under our belt...holidays to remember. 43F/Oh yeah, cloudy
  8. I think having your house windows open/screen, front screen door open and going shopping in a flannel only in late Dec is a problem. (yesterday) Gimmie a late night 1-3" clipper w/winds and I'll be happy... 37F/Cloudy
  9. Any late season snow slop won't do it for me. Crap March/April slop snow doesn't count. Just give me at least a clipper (1-3") or 2-4" before March will do...simple things seem to be so complicated these days. Couldn't look more like death/dark out there...36F.
  10. Thanks Don for rubbing it in! Kick a guy in the balls when he's down... (Kidding of course, you're a great asset to the board )
  11. Unbelievable how many cloudy days we've had. Just kicking back now in the recliner () w/the morning coffee looking W...super dark clouds. 34F/Cloudy
  12. Yep, watched 6abc at noon and they said it had peaked. But man, they had a live shot and people were driving like complete brain dead idiots through water which they had several inches depth+. What's the rush? Glad I live in the burbs and wouldn't mind going more rural... 54F/Drizzle
  13. ^And oh yeah, trash night here as well and I took it out. Beer cans clashing probably woke the dead. Winds super-ultra-mega calm though...
  14. Some stuff moving westward. Don't be surprised by a couple showers later...creeping W through Hatboro. I think I'll see something...dark/lowering clouds. 53F/Drizzle
  15. NBC10 had a live shot of Kelly Drive...what a mess. I think it's still rising?
  16. I have standing water where I usually don't. Heat off, 2 windows open (plus screen door) and indoor/outdoor Christmas lights still kicking... Currently overcast/mist/51F ...and here's tonight forcast.
  17. My indoor/outdoor stuff have been on 24/7 because it's so cloudy/dark. Blew a couple window candle bulbs but surprisingly the 1.21 Gigawatts red porch light is still going strong. But damn, all we need is a clipper, snow squall, snow shower or heavy duty flurries activity to make things right. Birds won, Dal and SF lost which helped though... 47F/Cloudy
  18. Welp, the best thing about these low clouds, foggy, misty and soon to be rainy days/nights you can leave the Christmas lights on 24/7 and appreciate... 44F/Rain moving in...
  19. Fog, low clouds, mist, junk and stuff out there, looks very festive. Tomorrow looks to be outstanding... 42F
  20. Maybe pea soup later tonight/overnight. I'll take anything... Cloudy/47F ...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast and southeast Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
  21. I don't count grass only. 35-40 daytime would be slushy crap/wet on paved surfaces... 47F
  22. Mid 30s+ will not cut it...maybe some slop but no real daytime (traditional) accumulating snow in the near future according to that graph. Sun trying to break trhrough/45F
  23. This entire week looks to be one cloudy, w/rain above average temps mess... Cloudy/45F
  24. Feels and looks just like Christmas Eve... Cloudy/some fog/drizzle/37F
