I was never impressed w/this event but accu weather seems even less impressed than myself for Philly/majority of Mont/Bucks counties...move the accumulation line down SE a tad. Think mid-upper Mont/Bucks should be in the 1-2" range...Philly C-1". Doesn't take long to accumulate a 1" or so w/a beginning thump...
You really can't think this is true...correct?
I'm at 36F now...probably hit 37-38F+...sun blazing.
Clouds move in tonight earlier than expected....holds temps higher than predicted.
When snow falls mid/late morning tomorrow temps at/near+ 32F w/the sun rays kicking.
Nothing (or for a short time somewhat sticks)...then melts and any precip may turn to rain...high 36-38F+....sloppy 1-2" or so IMO at best.
It just has that end of winter/early spring look...
Not at all.
For myself, if it doesn't stick on pavements/roads , still alright but kinda meaningless. However during the holidays I'll take any sort of snow...just seeing it fall along w/the lights is pretty cool.
By March 1-3 your snow pack be very minimum (grass showing). After tomorrow slowly but surely we'll be hitting 40s (and some 50s) and the sun will drill through this stuff by early March.
Here now, 33F, sunny and stuff is melting at a decent rate...
My older sister would go to clubs/bars in NJ during the 70s are see Flyer players hanging out like normal people. No big deal, just hanging out.
NHL players are by far the coolest most down to earth of the 4 major sports....
Here's what local NBC and ABC outlets are seeing this morning as far as accumulation. It's definitely a quick mover (4 hours or so?) and horrible timing...
I agree, don't know why the Mets are rated so high on all the sportsbooks? Maybe we are missing something? Even WIP was wondering what's so great about the Mets.
Even if the Phils BP is a "little better" that will equal a couple more wins because they really sucked and blew so many games last year....
Just about every sportsbook I look at have the Phils finishing 4th in the division, Nationals 3rd and Marlins last. Mets/Braves flip flopping for 1st. Many have the Phils with 81-82 wins which is .500 ball. I see very little chance winning the division but with a couple nice bounces and 87+ wins they could sneak in a wildcard spot.
I have it pegged down between the 2nd and 3rd week in Feb its effects start to be noticed. Not super horrible yet but you notice it from a month ago. I'm sitting at 31F and sunny but quite a bit dripping going on...
Snow on snow maybe but that's about it. No car toppers, no pavement/asphalt and basically slop to rain IMO. Would like a surprise but I don't see it...
