I have no idea how they could possibly predict this. Maybe some insight but certainly wouldn't take it too seriously. Much like winter outlooks which fail more times than not..
I like all of that as well if it stays in the 50s or 60. I just don't want a early blow torch which last though Aug/Sept. Nothing worse than a looong Summer...
* Just noticed my income tax return was deposited into my bank account overnight. Today's storm could fail completely and I'll still be in a good mood...
I'm just looking forward to a couple hours of snow at good rates and yeah this be last we see flakes for some time. Weekend looks wet w/temps near 50F...
Yep, today we have more resources (internet etc) to track stuff so we can see a failure coming for the most part. Back then it was KYW...Herb Clarke, Jim O' Brien etc at certain times and that's it. They could F-up my day within a minute...
When I was super young (7-9ish), listening to KYW before school and hearing Elliott Abrams say "going to stay south" or "out to sea", depression took hold and my day was completely screwed...
Same but more like 2" or so w/a thump and w/the same time line. Completely done by 3pm w/temps 36-37ish. Roads wet but I'll have to shovel a 1"+ of heavy slop from the pavements...
I agree sometimes but is this a Wentz reference? Because I really think he had to go...he wasn't getting along w/anyone and being replaced by Hurts freaked him out.
Anything less than a Eastern Finals appearance (probably vs Nets/Bucks)...total fail of a season. Even then, if they lose in the Eastern Finals....somewhat of a fail. Embiid and Simmons are in their prime...gotta get things going. And the West is pretty stacked even if they made it to the finals.
I was never impressed w/this event but accu weather seems even less impressed than myself for Philly/majority of Mont/Bucks counties...move the accumulation line down SE a tad. Think mid-upper Mont/Bucks should be in the 1-2" range...Philly C-1". Doesn't take long to accumulate a 1" or so w/a beginning thump...
You really can't think this is true...correct?
I'm at 36F now...probably hit 37-38F+...sun blazing.
Clouds move in tonight earlier than expected....holds temps higher than predicted.
When snow falls mid/late morning tomorrow temps at/near+ 32F w/the sun rays kicking.
Nothing (or for a short time somewhat sticks)...then melts and any precip may turn to rain...high 36-38F+....sloppy 1-2" or so IMO at best.
It just has that end of winter/early spring look...
Not at all.
For myself, if it doesn't stick on pavements/roads , still alright but kinda meaningless. However during the holidays I'll take any sort of snow...just seeing it fall along w/the lights is pretty cool.
