Because you get the ball to start the 2nd half and know where you stand. I would always defer the ball if I won the coin toss... 23F...waiting for snow.

Glenn just now, 11pm, going nuts w/the warm air crashing in...even into the far burbs. Windy tomorrow night (My trash put out night )....I see 2hrs tops snow then changeover. 11F currently

Same here, also saw some guys playing ice hockey on that little pond off Handcock past S Main Street heading toward N Wales. Surprised it was frozen solid but I guess it isn't that deep and the recent temps.... 14F at 8:45pm

They were discussing this theory the other day on Fox 29 morning news. Makes sense to me....born in late October.

No crickets (critters) in the winter which sucks and what makes firepits in the Fall better. I still BBQ in the winter which I plan on doing tomorrow... 16F / DP -6....everything I touch I get zapped.

I'm getting to the point where I enjoy Fall more so than Winter. Fall guarantees: -Colder/less humid coming off Summer -Bugs/Gnats die...but more mellow crickets/windows cracked to fall asleep -Shorter days -Firepit season -Leaves change colors -Less Allergies -Possible Hurricane/Tropical storm slams us Winter Guarantees: (for the most part) -Getting screwed...follow models for 5 days and end up with squat/waste time -Blow torch at some point -Snowless Christmas/holiday season -Pingers then rain -Weenies come out in full force -Days start to get longer 16F

Down to 10F but snow to rain tomorrow evening...go figure.

First guess yesterday..

GFS kicking us when we're down. Temps dropping like a rock/winds...down to freezing.

We never really had a rug to begin with...maybe a drop cloth which is sad. Temps starting to drop. Down to 37F from low 40s not that long ago. Thinking 12-14F for tonight's low which would be lowest of the season...
