  1. How can you be here? Check the mountain thread.
  2. I'd hate to see you trend in that direction.
  3. Not that time but we really need to do that again.
  4. If you get 30" I'll have Scottie beam me over there to enjoy it.
  5. Why? This was my 2/2004.
  6. And that is an unusual occurrence. I was surprised to see the "snow" word 6 days out as well.
  7. Very little is certain. Not sure why you think 28-30 would cause a change.
  8. Keeping this thread was never the issue. It's the next ten.
  9. Cashiers check sure. I'll leave it to my son in the will.
  10. You would think that but the reality is something else. The mid-range discussion simply gets moved to the storm thread, because it is mid-range at this point, and the regular mid-range thread goes almost silent. Hopefully, this storm will verify but most do not. It leads to multiple gaps in coverage inside the mid-range thread. If someone in the next few years comes back in research something it makes things difficult. You end up having to look at 20 storm threads to find the one or two that actually occurred and there is no continuity in the mid and long range threads.
  11. Indeed. It also seems we have forgotten that starting storm threads 6 days out ends up with a forum that contains 20 storm threads 18 of which fizzled out before a first flake. I hate to do it but for the sake of the forum going forward, I am thinking about banning this storm.
  12. I hope your dog recovers. I've just been through the same thing.
  13. He's crossed over into sports. Colin Cowherd just tweeted the video.
  14. Busted. Big time. FAKE WEATHER!!!
  15. If we are lucky she will go through an ERC while passing over the warmest water.
  16. Yeah. I had tomorrow at first. When I went to double check the info I pulled up0 an old link. Sorry about that. COLUMBIA — Gov. Henry McMaster will order evacuations along South Carolina’s entire 187-mile coastline border starting at noon Tuesday, saying residents and tourists must get out of Hurricane Florence’s potentially devastating path, according to several lawmakers briefed on the plans. The evacuations are expected to cover some areas inland prone to flooding, including Berkeley County and parts of Dorchester County. The eastbound lanes of Interstate 26 heading into Charleston and U.S. 501 into Myrtle Beach will be reversed when the order takes effect, opening all lanes to evacuees.
  17. A stall could end up doing the most damage of the entire event.
  18. I agree with this. I would only change your last phrase to, more of a flooding issue in addition to the winds.
  19. The image of the Euro at 120 has what would be whatever is left of the eye directly over my house. I know it will change but it still got my attention.
