BTW, Bostic's mayor and I, while not terribly close, have known each other since elementary school.

Only took 45min to tack on another inch. 2.5 total but it has let up for now.

Big sigh of relief we have not repeated last winter. This beats the season total of '22-' 23.

This rain has put a number on the drought. I'm at 2.65 already.

We always focus on the above normal temps but never give the below normal temps much attention....unless there is something frozen with them.

Average to slightly below temps is a win in my book during this time frame. That is any year.

I plan on upgrading my home weather station (current is Ambient 2902-A and moving to a Ambient 5000) and I was wondering if I can keep my same CWOP info that I have used for the last few years. Or If i will have to create a new one. 

Anyone got experience with this?

Some severe drought showing up now 

The short term of 10 or so days looks so great down here. Highs in the low 60- upper 50- and lows around 40…
Great fall weather for sure!

First taste of snow for me in t-minus 3-4 hours, winter weather advisory for 8-12” in the units my elk tag is for here in Colorado.  Seeing the eclipse while chasing elk with some snow in the ground Saturday is going to be wild.
