Decided yesterday to start running again. Got caught in this, guess that mean I'm not supposed to exercise?
Yep. Gotta hike instead. Rhodos are moving up in elevation quick right now.

Right here just barely. Sucks being in the snow hole of Watauga but I can't complain too much. Still 24.5 thus far. That map matches up perfectly with observations IMBY, but I can't speak for other areas.

Where's the best place to get model soundings? I'm trying to find one with wetbulbs or at least dew point and pressure.
I use www.pivotalweather.com for point soundings from time to time. Geared more towards severe weather IMO, though.
If you are dedicated and don't mind a small learning curve, BUFKIT is fantastic for viewing model sounds from the NAM/GFS.

Once you download the program the data distribution is here: http://www.meteo.psu.edu/bufkit/CONUS_NAM_00.html

I love Brasstown Bald! I'll be getting up there once we get some color in the next couple weeks
Sweet! I went up there middle of last October and it was gorgeous. First time up there with the leaves changed. Going to try to hit part of the AT and Amicalola Falls this year too.

This was me a month or so ago up at Brasstown Bald. Got this picture myself with the camera on a timer. Love it up there.

Here I am! Enjoying Helen, GA and Octoberfest... maybe a bit too much!
Hey! You were right near me! lol. I live just south of Helen in Cleveland which is that annoying town you come through to get to Helen.
Here's me on top of Brasstown Bald enjoying the beautiful color last Saturday.

LOL....I have a girlfriend who calls them the same! Tiger is a nice little town...we only have 395 people in it, so very small.
It may be small but y'all got a drive-in. And a nice one at that.

Me and the girlfriend at Cocoa Beach over the summer.

We're gonna need an ark pretty soon around here. The Watauga was incredible the other day down below the house. My rain gauge overflowed the other night so we definitely got over 6". I wasn't awake to dump it lol
