  1. Radar looks fine to me. Enjoy the snow everyone!
  2. NWS considering the upgrade to a warning for southeast crew. No changes to the previous winter wx headlines although some consideration was given toward warning upgrade in the far southeast where hires models show a potential fgen band pivoting over northern MD/DE into southern NJ. Confidence was just not high enough to pull trigger on warning right now with the HREF and NBM probs more bullish over areas just south of the MD line. Reliance on higher QPF and SLRs can also be a risky proposition, so will stay put for now and alert the dayshift on potential need for short-lead WSW.
  3. 3-5 on my point and click. Is that new?? NWS being aggressive which is unusual.
  4. 18Z Euro is nice. Should be a fun day tomorrow. I wonder if some of us end up with more tomorrow then we had on Tuesday.
  5. MU final call. Still seems a little bit aggressive especially across the north
  6. This has to be the best Euro run yet for this event.
  7. It’s encouraging to see the 18Z Euro improve. It felt like we were slipping towards the low end of the 1-3, so to see the Euro bounce back is quite nice. Now…no better time to get NAMed then at 0Z!!
  8. I don’t mind seeing the Euro a little south of us with the heavier stuff.
  9. GFS just went kinda crazy. Should be an interesting Kuchera map.
  10. This is a precip breaking out overhead deal not a watching it come in from the southwest, JFYI
  11. Latest forecast update from CTP saying warning may be needed for the southern folks: HREF data run with WPC forecast SLR between 15-20:1 shows some potential for warning level 5-6" fluffy totals in these locations which will need to be monitored for a short lead upgrade next shift
  12. Thanks! I figured it would be fairly awesome…and it is.
  13. GFS is a nice uptick. Anyone got the Kuchera clown map to share?
  14. Yes, agreed. We’ve been getting bumped up on models statewide, but it’s getting up in the 4-6” range just to our south. History says that’s a great place to be!
  15. Nice Canadian run as well. Let’s keep it going tomorrow!
  16. Most of the state gets 2-3” on the NAM. Small, but positive changes for this system on today’s model runs.
  17. Still rather light totals but a definite uptick vs. the 12Z run. 18Z ICON was an increase as well.
