  1. Im hoping gor the best. I have about 3 mile view looking north up the river. Im keeping my fingers crossed.
  2. I'm taking my COC week of 70's and running with it. I'm flying to Maryland today just for an overnight. It's going to be upper 80's there--I'll give summer your regards. Dank start to today. Pea soup and 61.0*
  3. I managed to hit 80 or higher 6 times in the past month, 3 of those were the 3 hot days from June 11-13 when I went 86, 88, 85.. I had 4 days in the past month where I came in shy of 70*.
  4. 6 minutes gone already and by the end of the week, we'll be losing at a rate of more than a minute/day and well over 2 minutes/day by months end. Let the foliage clock begin--they might even be getting some color in West Chesterfield.
  5. Got to 76 here. No complaints from me.
  6. By the time it hits it will be close to mid-July when posts will begin about folks first noticing the later sunrise/set.
  7. And CT will begin to leaf out.
  8. Better one bad half than one bad whole.
  9. 74* with a strong breeze hete at Chez Pit at 12:45. We call this COC.
  10. What did you do to your shoulder? Mine's been messed up for about 3 months now. Some type of rotator cuff and/or nerve stuff. Lots of pain. In fact, just came back from PT whcih is allowing me to work from home today. Up to 67.5, approaching the midnight high of 68.5.
  11. Gorgeous morning at the Pit. Dropped down to 57.4* overnight with bright sun and a breeze to start the day. Up to 61.4* now with a p/c of 74* on tap. We COC. Is there any shot at sun in the midst of the weekend showers? I'm going to be up in Maine--will suck to be stuck in crap the whole time.
  12. This. What are people's thoughts on cloud cover this afternoon out in GC?
  13. My pool is getting opened in the 1st. I guess itll be a while vefore anyone goes in.
  14. You better fire up your drought thread.
  15. How much did you measure, Chris? It's predominately qpf, though. That said, we're now hiavng the best snow of the storm--at least since 5:00a.m. If it keeps up a while this could get us over the hump to reach advisory level.
  16. It is what it is. FWIW, BOX has updated it's snowfall forecast map for what is likely the last time. I don't know what they're thinking with the amounts they're showing out here. My ZFP is also calling for 12-16". A quick look out the window and at the radar makes me shake my head.
  17. I was worried going to bed last night, the radar returns hitting a wall as they headed up here were tell-tale of a bust. Mets and others saying not to worry since it's really not going to be firing up until 06z gave me hope. At least I can now make it from Thanksgiving until probably February without using my snowblower.
  18. This is an utter failure in GC. I don't know if we'll achieve advisory level snow. At least its breezy so the couple inches that came down can blow around a little. If it weren't so funny to bust so drastically, I'd really be bummed. I'll probably get more Thursday night/Friday than I get from this. This winter has diminished to a D- at this point out here. Sucky, sucky, sucky. When can I open the pool?
  19. LOL--Messenger's 'in-storm' pbp freaks me out everytime. I become convinced I'll only get flurries.
  20. I would be laughing so hard--the continuation of the 2014-15 winter.
