  1. ZFP, fwiw. Tuesday Night Rain likely with a chance of sleet in the evening, then snow likely with a chance of sleet after midnight. Snow and sleet accumulation around an inch possible. Much cooler with lows in the upper 20s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent. Wednesday Snow likely. Additional light snow accumulation possible. Much cooler. Near steady temperature around 30. West winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 60 percent.
  2. It's interesting to see on the BOX probability maps that the most-likely has GC getting lightest snows yet in the 10% probability they jack.
  3. snow followed by rain by snow by rain is a helluva way to run establishing a snowpack. Hopefully the end-of the week system won't destroy the 1-6" we might get in the next couple days.
  4. It's getting closer to what will happen in any case.
  5. 47 here....actually came down a degree. I'll chalk that up for a win.
  6. Down to about 12" on my deck table. I'm sure there's more on the ground (that only melts from the top). Balmy, 48*
  7. Glad to be SE of that line for a change. We'll find out soon enough how it all plays out.
  8. And things held such promise a week ago......
  9. GFS op gives us a white Christmas. La-la-la-lock it in.
  10. Well, if someone were to get a lolly of 4", one could claim a 4-8" forecast verified.
  11. If it were to play like that, it would be a tremendous start for you, Luke, Chris, and Dave. WNE pattern at last?
  12. Sounds a little like your and Dew's HHH forecasts.
  13. Who cares what the EPS say? The GFS says mix.
  14. Congrats, Hoth! Per GFS, any mid-week snow that does materialize is short-lived as it gets washed away by the late-week inside runner. Snow retention fail. 4* here, 14* at the airport.
  15. Only 10 days out.....what could possibly go wrong?
  16. On the plus side, the city will be able to finish its leaf pick-up.
  17. At least we have a cool day today and a chill tonight to allow us to temporarily forget the impending disaster.
  18. Well, I managed 4 days straight of snow. Picked up a couple inches in central PA this afternoon, was snowing pretty good when I left with perhaps 6 by the time it's done. Back at PIT now (the real PIT) awaiting my return to BOS.
  19. Well 6 hours later, I’m finally going to board my flight. So glad I’m getting out.
