  1. People praying for a Pope nudge south.
  2. Dude----I think you might want to forget the models you dreamt of and take a look at the reality. The overall trend is not our friend. Still lots of time though.
  3. Not what I wanted to wake up to........I fear this one might be slipping through our fingers--at least for most of the board with things (outside EPS) shifting warmer. Then again, it's only Wednesday. Still plenty of time. When folks speak of the EPS are they speaking of the mean? If so, can you see the individual members' tracks to also see the dispersion? I can see them on the GEFS (and they suck).
  4. Pretty neat. Though I hate seeing melted snow.
  5. Doesn’t need to be very anomalous at any point in December. For 2 feet in October in the other hand..... That would suck.
  6. Well, THanksgiving break now seems to be extend all the way to this past Friday, so could be. Meanwhile, the GFS is praying at the Pope's altar.
  7. That's the second PA joke of the night. He laughs in the face of DIT's Charmin posts. Congrats MVY on the 06z gfs.
  8. I have as much confidence in the King as I would having Prince Andrew as a babysitter. It's a shadow of its old self.
  9. SNE might actually run ahead of JSPin for about 48 hours this season. Of course, that's still in question.
  10. I'll go with: '78 Rocktober Irene's flooding 1993
  11. Congrats. We picked up all of .04". Chilly in the house this morning.
  12. Maybe BOX should replace their hurricane icon with a picture of James, all decked out in his Patriot's gear, sitting in front of blank tv screen.
  13. LOL. Comcast will have to dig deep to get the Cape up and running.
  14. Many of us would like an early ET transition to allow more people to enjoy the breeze and rain.
  15. Yeah. My daughter goes to school in Marion, MA. I wonder what their protocol is for that.
  16. And RI/SE MA and DE ME make the cone. Congrats.
  17. I was a sophomore in college--enjoyed a day of cancelled classes.
  18. Belle for me. Maybe the UK can be reliable this winter. I'll toss that unless others start joining in. It may not be a huge miss, but I'd certainly lean toward that at this point than anything significant--even for James.
  19. They were renting that one, IIRC. But they bought a fixer-upper in Park Slope about 30-years ago. I think they'll do okay when they sell/move in a couple years when they retire. $$$
  20. Is that Cobble Hill in Brooklyn? My sister lived there for many years at 341 Clinton (?) Ave. No idea why I can remember that address!
  21. Agreed. I think the only thing we'll experience up here is Steve posting pictures of some unremarkable swells from Misquamicut.
