  1. This is true......it's also tough to get between 20-30" of snow in December and have nothing to show for it.
  2. And higher still north of Rt 2. This 'most likely' map is the same as their 10% map. 16 pages for mostly meh.
  3. New map from BOX. Congrats, Chris.
  4. Love that little orange j/p in Lunenburg.
  5. So.....it's possible much of the area may wind up between 20-30" in the month December yet still manage to start 2020 with bare ground.
  6. A lost storm and then the torch would be a kick in each nut.
  7. Do you have a spread on that mean?
  8. Barring where any banding sets up---I'd like to see a couple ticks more and a ramp up on the qpf.
  9. LOL at the GFS with the storm next weekend. It brings it from the GA coast and proceeds to move it south toward the Carribean.
  10. Now that I'm in ORH I can shed my qpf angst and start wearing my p-type woes.
  11. You mean it's too soon to lock it in?
  12. How crazy would that be.....some folks near 60" on the month (counting Tuesday and if I did my arithmetic right). Imagine the pack had we not evaporated the goods from our prior storms.
  13. That blows (no pun intended). At least it wasn't a frigid night. ORH just gusted to 48-49.
  14. Even those few inches will help with the follow-up cold temps.
  15. I'd use a stronger word than "breezy" for 49mph gusts. Today A chance of flurries after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph.
  16. Man--winds are howling. Too bad it's not ushering in single digit temps. ORH recorded a 45mph gust already.
  17. 06 GFS continues cold. Nice advisory event for many. \
  18. How quickly my mind forgets.....which models did best/worst in the last system?
  19. Yes from pwm. I thought sn starts just after midnight Mon night PWM is the worst for that early morning departure (or at least it was when I lived up there 2005-2008). The line tor security would loop around the entire terminal--lots of folks missing their flights.
