  1. Thread started? Oh no---we're doomed!!
  2. I know we're not at the long-awaited pattern change, but this series of misses (if this does in fact cut) is a real downer.
  3. LOL--like the protest. GYX has introduced sn/rn for Sunday. We bide our time.
  4. Do you wean "warming' or "warning"? Either way, hopefully the Maine coast will avoid much taint.
  5. You and Tip can snuggle together in the backseat as the sun warms things up through the windshield.
  6. Here’s the state of my “pack”.
  7. I recall a really good pattern setting up last year, too.........
  8. "I wonder what happens if I push this button......."
  9. Agreed. And even within that described area there’s often a gradient—sometimes significant—at play.
  10. Agreed. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had a broad model failure this season. Just saying.
  11. It’s 3 days before the event. A little early to be talking if schooled. My 2 cents.
  12. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what model does well for Thursday. It's bupkis for SNE in any case, and that's what matters. :
  13. I haven't been too focused on GYX's forecasts since I moved from there 12 years ago. But even back then, they were really conservative on forecasts. I'd be looking enviously at BOX forecasts (and the accompanying SNE-centricity of most posters here) with envy. And then in the end, we'd get crushed. At least that's my recollection.
  14. You mean this first one from the weekend event or the second of the entire week?
  15. Coastal Maine crusher. I like 12th-period forecasts that include a 90% chance of snow. Saturday Night Snow. Low around 18. Chance of precipitation is 90%
  16. That's total accumulation through 162, not from the weekend. Or maybe I'm misreading it.
  17. It's a little tucky.....looking forward to SE trend.
  18. Looks good. My wife and I were just talking about heading up next weekend.
  19. 61* at mi casa at 5:30. Next weekends looks like a front-ender at this point. The EC's tracking the low across CT/RI into Maine. That's not going to cut it (no pun intended). Regardless, it looks like the current warmth will be but a memory in a couple weeks. Brrrrr.......
  20. No better excuse for going to Pit2. LOL at the big rainer washing it away on the 24th.
  21. Just where Eastern SNE/CNE/NNE want it a week out
  22. It's way too soon to call it a snower. I'm going with a rn/sn mix at best for SNE at this point. We're still dealing with left-over crap, and we know these pattern changes tend to be slower than modeled at this range. On another note, I noticed the lengthening afternoons for the first time yesterday. About two more weeks until Tip's first 'warm in the car' post.
