  1. You can't use that excuse when the city had a similar storm ten days earlier than this one only six years ago on November 6th 2012.
Central Park measured 4.7 from that storm, likely an under measurement, but many parts of the city measured 8 inches.  Memories can't be that short.

Memories are that short because the only people remembering past snow events are us weather enthusiasts.

  2. 83N is shut down again in York cause a truck overturned.

I think they're going to be forced to make all trucks get off the road when it starts snowing around HBG. So many are empty trailers that can't make it up a hill or around a turn without jacknifing. It led to yesterday's trafficgedon and it'll undoubtedly be an issue for every storm now.

83 between MD and Harrisburg is one of the worst sections of roads in PA. Just as bad or worse than Schuylkill Expressway in Philly area. Bad weather or sunny and dry weather.

  3. Are you getting any additional accumulation? Still just a few spotty flakes mixing in here. Rain has almost erased the little snow pack we had.

I’m with Nash let’s torch for a week after Thanksgiving and press the reset button first week of December and try again...

That band produced mostly rain mixed with wet flakes around Lackawanna. Picked up a little away from lakeshore but nothing was really sticking that well.

  4. Situation is crazy.  Some buses took 5 hours to deliver kids.  And as most have said, gridlock everywhere.  Why is this one so bad?  A 6” snow with some mix is significant but my no means unusual around here.  Underestimated?  Timing?  Unprepared?

First of season is always worst.

Underestimated as they kept harking on time of year, climo, blah, blah, blah.
