note i make no personal remarks about any poster.......how was my factual post silly please?.......the measurement used in is hundredths of a degree and our precision in gathering the data is nowhere near that exact.......the above graph shows warming when coming out of a colder period, how is that unusual please?

the ranking of warmest is based on hundredths of a degree a precision we do not have the ability yet to find.

this particular warming event? it was warmer in 1998 than now, there is NO ongoing warming at this time.........

dons i made no mention of you.......they made that rather silly claim and now you posted this "(relatively stable since the 1960s with some fluctuations)." that clearly says there have been fluctuations since the 60's = NOT a constant rate of incoming from the sun.......to rule out the SUN and blame human released co2 for the warming remains INSANE.......

One of the “smoking guns” that tells us the Sun is not causing global warming ..........that clearly says the SUN does NOT cause warming on earth........ they said 55% of records were broken which means 45% were NOT broken and it was warmer in the past......the climate is the PAST weather stats averaged, it is NOT a force, has no power and does NOT cause any weather event.

i only get to post for myself never claimed to be speaking for anybody else......and i do enjoy watching the storm as it begins and evolves....the outcome for my back yard is irrelevant

the reason why snowmageddon happened in b'ham and atlanta is simple folks we had close to 50 hours below freezing before the moisture arrived so every flake of snow that fell stuck on the roads......one inch of snow on frozen already roads is very bad, while 4 inches falling onto warm roads just melts.......

"all other things being equal" that sum up the POINT for me all things are NOT ever equal so your sides entire position is based on NON existent NON reality.......YOUR side is assigning a power to co2 that it simply does NOT have.

the incoming is both short and long wave radiation, and there is NO balance never has been, thermodynamics means the system seeks to find balance but because factors constantly change that balance is never found.......

since there was more ice this past summer than in 2007 where is this continuing decline in the arctic sea ice please?????....also the greenhouse effect is an insulating effect, please name one insulator than adds extra heat to any system????? i ask because seems to me co2 in no way adds to the total heat in our atmosphere.

this thread is why i limit my posting here, a group are claiming that humans control the weather(to drive the climate REQUIRES control of the weather) and they get very angry when basic science is explained to them we humans do NOT control the weather.........
