    lol the psyche ward has had 3 or more big storms in the next week down to warm rain and thunderstorms now......every new model runs changes everything there

    basketball officiating? i could have blocked 10+ shots a game in highs school since i could jump over 44 inches which was about 1.5feet higher than any opponent......BUT the refs called fouls on every blocked shot so i stopped doing it freshman year......refs have a hard job but very few do it well.

    not trying to tell anybody how or what to post, i do enjoy humor, and enjoy very much watching storms as they evolve which is easy to do in todays world......

    are observations limited to my own back yard? or can observations made about low location and movement ok?....we will have to agree to disagree with the concept that models are REAL weather

    what is happening outside, the radar showing where precip is falling, the front lines showing where fronts are the animations showing where stuff is moving.......honestly asking what is the real weather is part of my points,you seriously needed to ask that?

    the pattern thread is full of negative banter and cliff jumping, that is the point for me the models are discussed into the ground and the real weather is almost never mentioned......

    i only get to post for myself never claimed to be speaking for anybody else......and i do enjoy watching the storm as it begins and evolves....the outcome for my back yard is irrelevant

    i speculate that the entire forum ill not see a big snow but more than half of the SE will see snow on the ground and a few locations will be on the high side of the forecasts.....caveat i am not counting florida

"exact same dynamics" words have meaning and those words are utterly FALSE.

    hr rambler, i saw your comment my favorite place is not the psyche ward....it really is anywhere the actual weather is discussed.....btw i am a graduate of the professional academy of broadcasting in knoxville circa 1984

    bdgwx.........with all due respect you say you deal with the "hard science" but you often mention the consensus, do YOU really think"hard science" is ever done by consensus? do you think even soft science is done by consensus????? the point is NO science refers to consensus....

    Nobody claims that CO2 is the dominating factor in Earth's equilibrium temperature (T). what is this equilibrium temperature please? seems that would be when there is no climate change and th temperature remains the same for a very long time.....no such state of equilibrium is evident in any record....i submit rather thermodynamics makes the overall system SEEK balance(equilibrium)but can never find it because too many factors constantly change and no such state can be achieved.
