We had pea sized hail and 40-45 mph winds too. It just kept redeveloping right over top of us.. and of course we are getting another moderate shower now to add to the daily total

I'm over 10 for the month... a dry spell sounds nice.

We got rocked. Almost 4 inches of rain in less than 2 hours. Lots of flash flooding. I think they should stop celebrating Bigfoot. He's telling them to stop looking

There were a lot of forecasts about it being a hot and very dry summer. It's only May but we have had over 6 inches of rain the past 2 weeks and the next 10 days looks like more of the same.

Weakening fast now, unlike earlier

Asheville is between storms so far. The cell in Madison is heading directly towards my house in McDowell.

Thats a really nasty cell in southern Madison. Looks like some big hail- 2 inch or bigger on radar

Not here. It has never got that dry here since last fall. It's a soggy mess now.

We have been hit pretty good too, especially today. 1.27 today with a good storm for a 3 day total of 2.68. I love this weather and so do the fish.

Fished the Davidson River yesterday, that have a nice setup there. Easily accessible, great fishing. It was pretty crowded but still enjoyable. Water there was lower than McDowell, I feel like they have had less rain than us.

Had a good storm yesterday with 1.23. Finished slightly above average for April thanks to that storm.

Got down to 33 with frost.

We did not get cold enough for frost, only 38. Was just windy enough to prevent it.

40 here already. Really think there's going to be frost unless we get some wind or we wetbulb.

More frost/freeze looks possible next weekend. Hopefully the last of the season...
