  1. Better enjoy it while we can.. Most of this is from Tuesday/Wednesday next week for Western sections
  2. I bet you get some 60's next week. What's your elevation?
  3. This. And looking at signs of a SE ridge developing on the OP euro and Eps to a lesser extent. They can be a death knell in February/March
  4. The odds continue to increase for a snowless winter for most of the southeast. I would put the odds of a trace or less of snow for Charlotte, GSP, Raleigh and GSO at 70%.
  5. Give me a warm and dry February at this point and I won't complain about the lack of snow.
  6. We're in trouble folks. Big SE ridge looks to build in after next weekend for a while at least according to the EPS and OP Euro. More rain of course too.
  7. Well at least it looks interesting and maybe flooding. Today we are going over 2 inches easy looking at the radar which puts us over 10 for the month..
  8. It does have our storm the GFS is showing and is another closer call but rain for most
  9. It's actually closer to a heavy event for the mountains...
  10. Euro showing wet snow/mix for the higher elevations of WNC for the storm next week (at least at the onset).
  11. It can't because the weekend rain storm is hanging out off New England. It is funneling in some colder air though.
  12. THE OP EURO HAS BEEN HINTING AT A GULF LOW AROUND THE 27TH/28TH BUT IT HAS IT TOO FAR SOUTH FOR NOW. TEMPS WOULD BE MARGINAL BUT IF IT COULD TRACK FARTHER NORTH IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING,
  13. Well the op euro shows a strong low pressure for the mid atlantic and heavy snow in western VA, WVA, and portions of NW NC next weekend..
  14. The OP Euro caught on first to the crap pattern though still..
  15. This winter has set the record for the least amount of fantasy snow on the Euro. Even bad winters usually always have a couple big ones 7 days out. Haven't even had the high from looking at the clown maps..
  16. Yikes. Honestly though this would probably be the worst winter in my lifetime for WNC when combining lack of threats, warm temps, excessive rain
  17. I would just be happy with a few weeks of dry but that isn't going to happen with this pattern. At least the rain amounts look light for now.
  18. The only thing saving us from 60s to near 70 this weekend will be cloud cover. The EPS looks pretty bad after 10 days too.
  19. On the plus side its going to be in the 50s and 60s again next weekend
  20. It also hurts that the last decade or so has seen some of the lowest northwest flow-snow totals in the past 100 years.
  21. The ski resorts have been taking a beating the past 4 or 5 years especially.
  22. I saw that, it has a mid to upper 30s rain event for most of WNC so its close, but 850 temps are warm.
