Definitely gonna go from jackpot to almost nothing wherever this hits. Gonna sux watching all that moisture come right at us only to be eaten up by the mountains and dry air... Definitely gonna be a close one. For what its worth wakefield upped the percentage a tad for at least an inch in most places.

Models backed off again a bit but damn the weather birds sure are chirping away this morning ... So something maybe coming.. hmmmm..

Would nice to get more then a dusting/car topper... Trending a little better lately on most of the models but here are the current predictions from NWS

Yeah cmc also showing a decent hit. Still would like to see it not so scattered morning runs should give us more of a good idea...

Normally we would be sitting in a good spot this early in the week but trends really haven't gone back in our direction yet.. Still time for a bump north but cant say odds are with us.. Dry air always seems to make it's way in around here..

Almost always on the edge here.. Everything needs to line up temps/dry air vs precip... Guess we will know more by this time tomorrow Lol..

Looks like here in the Richmond area things already starting to wind down just looks like a little more of steady rain in this area. The severe weather looks to have moved more away from this area. Havent really got any decent wind gust yet will be interesting to see if we are too far from the center to get anything of anything of significance.

The most severe part of the storm is hitting the area now till about 8am in this area.. pouring buckets of rain at the moment . A few quick tornadoes popping up now just south and east of the Richmond area. Wouldn't doubt that a warning pops up in this area in the next hour or two. Thing is hauling at 28mph Winds 40ish around Norfolk area. Flash flooding more of an issue in most of this area

Decent band went through no real wind that time just a few burst of mod to heavy rain.. Looks like a long train band setting up close to this area

Had a good gust/rain with the first band at about 2pm in my area of Glen Allen looks like a few more bands are setting up to come through in the next few hours before the main event in the morning hours

About to be over here in the next hour in here in the West End Henrico.. owell at least a saw a good snow shower with a nice cool breeze ha No accumulation

well honestly nothing was to start here until after 3-4 pm anyway.. so we will see (of course It looks like the storm is moving a little faster then scheduled)

Yeah as I mentioned earlier the decent precip line is drifting even farther south... so unless we somehow get some backfill off the ocean that looks pretty doubtful now the way the storm is headed it looks like we will just get some pity snow flurries-/showers anywhere north of chester

What interesting is seeing the back fill in from the ocean back into the southern VA area almost to us...

and FWIW its there is a rain shower in Chester at the moment from that line.. Prob is getting the heavier precip up this far.... You can clearly see the line on radar right under Chester down toward Martinsville VA

ha ha I know its most likely Virga but a decent band was forming that's why I asked if anything was hitting the ground.... If we dont have anything by 7pm I dont expect us to get anything measurable . This system is moving quickly

Yeah Its def hitting a brick wall if you look back of the storm in Nashville TN area and everything drifting south... to me the boarder or VA/NC somewhere around roanke rapids nc looks to be the sweet spot .. Storm def looks to moving quickly ... looks to be a little front running band headed to chester area is that producing anything?
