  1. I’m afraid it will, unlike then we don’t have a huge decline in new case numbers, just a plateau of 60 to 70 thousand new cases a day. Florida’s case numbers will be lower for awhile with testing sites shut down from threat of Hurricane.
  2. Florida sets another death record fourth day in a row.
  3. 1529 deaths today on CovidTracking
  4. Herman knew they dangers as a 74 year old going in there and unfortunately it worked out bad. This thing can be very serious, especially to the elderly.
  5. Hope he didn’t infect anyone else.
  6. It’s absolutely real, from early July. Was deleted just recently.
  7. Really sad, didn’t have to happen. RIP.
  8. Many states did do everything on their own basically, Maryland had to go out of the dang country to purchase enough tests at one point. Several states avoided the immediate wave that was already in action in much of Northeast, and still were lax with preventative measures, leading to this mess now. It’s on both federal and state, but to pretend feds have done well is downright dishonest.
  9. Inconsistent messaging, states fighting each other for supplies, lack of awareness in public and plain old denying it made all of this much worse than it could’ve been.
  10. Sadly most deaths in a day since May 15th.
  11. Sadly already over 930 deaths for today at only 430pm.
  12. There’s a need to downplay covid in a lot of people, I think part of it is a coping mechanism. This was never going to be deadly like Ebola, if it was it would’ve killed itself out already. Its a perfect storm of asymptomatic and mild symptom people spreading it rapidly and it finding those who who are more vulnerable or just unlucky and ends up being serious/deadly then. This is why it’s a dangerous pandemic, it’s not making some sick enough to stay home or not be out, while it’s killing others.

  14. I’ve known several and had guy from our trout fishing cabin pass away from it. Guess it’s all about your own experiences.
  15. This is exactly it, it’s going to take a hit anyways with everyone getting sick and seeing people they know pass away.
  16. It’s a really interesting thing to see such difference in temps in nearby locations. I love traveling through that area, such a neat area to take in.
  17. Think it’s a mix of lower elevation from surrounding areas and fact it’s in river valley. Where it’s extra hot in summer, the same characteristics make it a great CAD spot for some reason. Lol I’m far from expert but but think those things factor into why we get so hot.
  18. Hope everyone is doing well! We’re parched up here, grass is all brown and even some cracking in bare spots...hoping for so kind of soaker soon.
  19. 65k new cases 1,087 deaths so far on Worldometers today.
  20. This argument is weird to me. Where in his statement did he say everything shut down and shutting peoples lives completely down? He named a few measures one should expect to deal with in a global pandemic.
  21. Looking like 1,111 total on Worldometers for deaths today.
  22. Who can blame any country, we have exploding growth of virus.
  23. We have a raging pandemic of a dangerous virus. To say that is not political.
  24. The gymnastics they pull is just astounding. We are in deep sh*t with this outbreak and there’s no other way to put it.
