    Being where you are a lot better chance you see wind gusts, that stretch from Selinsgrove to Lewisburg always does, Williamsport sits in deeper valley so less likely for wind. It’s a nice area, just not much to do lol.

    If everyone in forum gets 10 plus, this will be my fav storm in memory. We always talked about it, but to see it really happen would be just awesome. Hoping kpit uses ratios to get to over 6 as well.

    Good luck all! Thinking we all stay almost all snow and get dumped on good, looks like region wide 10+ and with dynamics I think we see very little mixing, even SE. Hope we all get double digits and have some great pics to share.

    Were used to it, and most of us live in South Central/SE so mainly just focus on that. I’ll take the 6 gladly, just hoping it stays there.

    Completely out of beds at local hospitals, trying to rearrange just to have non covid emergency and surgery rooms. We’re in very big trouble, overwhelmed with cases coming in like crazy still.

    It’s awful. Getting scary bad locally, running out of staff.

    There’s a lot of detachment going on in every facet of daily life in America. It’s part of why we’re in such a mess and lowly place right now.

    I remember some in New England thread were like, “Yawn...wake me up when hospitals are filling up.” Now here in Central PA and all over Midwest and other regions that’s the reality. Local hospitals here are turning some people away, and are at capacity.

    Most arguing about mental health now are not doing it in good faith. Stating it just helps their argument against doing literally anything about virus spread. Mental health has always been ignored by so many, and most of the people bringing it up now only do so because it helps argument they’re making.

    Hey guys serious question bc I’m not smart at weather, it looks like we have decently strong low in central and northern VA but GFS shows pretty paltry precip north of low. Is this due to a high or something causing it to dry up?

    I want whatever solution gives us most precip. My spring that supplies house with water is still pretty low and will take all I can get.

    We have literal war zone time going on at local hospitals and nursing homes here. Really really hoping something changes because we are approaching territory of every bed being full, icus already full and attempting to expand. These aren’t the big metro hospitals, these are the rural ones just trying to get by.

    It’s really really bad at local hospital my mom works at. Literally at capacity and starting to be thinking of ideas for unit outside of hospital and or opening defunct hospital small distance away to use. It’s very bad and trending worse.
