  1. I'm sorry to hear that. Seems pretty harsh for her to say that on Christmas Eve
  2. Seems to have performed about like BTV expected.
  3. 3" +/- here. It took a while to actually accumulate much last night.
  4. I am truly happy for you Ant. Most of us here love snow but you are always so hopeful and invested in it and you never seem to lose that sense of wonder. I'm glad you got a little something and I hope it sticks around enough to give you a white Christmas.
  5. I was sort of just kidding. I definitely don’t have the knowledge, skills or abilities to make a call like that.
  6. Just started here. The flakes looked pretty smashed up as was talked about earlier.
  7. @powderfreakhas been bumped up to a Winter Storm Warning
  8. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s in central VT -20’s were pretty common and -30 not rare in the colder spots. Canaan and Island Pond regularly reported -30 or more. I can remember Canaan being the coldest reading in the lower 48 numerous times.
  9. -11° for me. You have an advisory up too. It almost feels like winter is making a return visit.
  10. -4.7° here which just barely clipped the -4.5° I had for my coldest last winter.
  11. I noted in the main obs thread that it was cold enough today for the snow to squeak. Like you said, all the snow last year was paste, we haven’t “heard” the snow in a while.
  12. Shot them off over the ski area and the display ended up over the village?
  13. Yeah, we’ve talked about that before. It would be nice to have a radar at KMPV.
  14. Those radar shots don’t really pick up the light snow that was in the air on and off most of the day here. Of course, radar can struggle on this side of the spine.
  15. Pretty wintry. Snowed most of the day and has been breezy. My high was 19.7° just after midnight, it’s been dropping ever since. 6° now. It’s cold enough for the snow to squeak. That’s been rare the last few years.
