Picked up some decent rains around 12:30AM up this way from that line. No thunder, just a good soaking for about 20 minutes or so.
I received a total of 0.83 from that line last night. Radar this hour looks similar to about 10:30pm last night with that healthy looking feature near Reading, PA

Good lord I just saw lightning from that line all the way here in Piscataway. Actually now I'm seeing a bunch of it. That's a solid hundred miles away.
Giving mild consideration to setting up the camera somewhere but I don't think anything would be here for at least two hours and who knows how it'll fall apart. The stable air down here has been cutting down these storms for two weeks.
That line just passed my location and put down a quick 0.55” of rain. Not much lightning and winds no more than 15mph. Not sure about how much it amounts to once it gets past I287 in NJ.

I strongly agree and think the place to put it is in Tobyhanna.

I am under that storm too. Extremely impressive with lots of CTG lightning.

Looked at the traffic map this evening and there is a lot of heavy traffic going south down through VA on I-95 and I-81. I am guessing that this is in part related to the eclipse. Hotels all over SC are booked in anticipation of this event.

There is a history of these convergence zones setting up west to east across LI. There was one a couple of years ago that dumped up to several inches of rain across NW Suffolk Cty.
