This stuff out of Lake Tahoe is wild. Snowpack out there is at the height of power lines now, telling kids not to swing from them. This couple trying to keep their entrance to their house going. That’s borderline worrisome if that’s how you access your home, ha.

Onward and upward. Back near a normal winter, ha. Normal is plenty snowy.

Snowfall has picked back up here again this evening. Snowing good at times now with some new accumulation. The mountain is just absolutely buried after the past 10 days of snowfall. Today was phenomenal. And to think there was this feeling of dread in early/mid February wondering if NNE gets more snow or peaked.

Skiing is phenomenal. 9” at our snow plot at 3,000ft as of like 10am, probably 10” now and tapered to flurries. Good shot of QPF, had to be 10:1 snow or even 9:1. Going to be a 7-12” event around these parts I think, pretty well modeled.

Passing 8” now. Deep winter scenes.

Dumping. Low vis good flake size. 6.5” so far but just south of here J.Spin has to be near 9-10”.

18z HRRR had MVL ASOS with 0.53" QPF in 2-hours around 5-6am (0.27" and 0.26" hourly). I'll believe that when I see it.

It is hot outside though, wow. Sunny and snow taking full March sunshine. Though guess it’s only 34/10. Feels hotter.

What a crushing on the Euro in the morning. The HRRR concurs with 3-hr precip. One hour it has like 0.30” water.

Looked like it tried to CCB back into eastern MA better than 00z.

A lot less QPF than the GFS continues to be the theme... though Euro looked like it might have attempted a CCB better in eastern areas.

We had a half inch last night and nothing more until this afternoon and evening snow showers have left about an inch, missed all of the meaty stuff to the SE. The mountain looks like it probably got 3-4” this evening though a few miles away with the CAA portion.

Definitely better by NE MA and NH border.
