Is the late next week deal the first time the EPS has shown something trackable this winter? I just may not have been paying attention but it seems to be. A good cluster of LPs off the NC coast but the trough is still positively tilted so the mean is a bit more offshore than we’d like. But a signal for a coastal low and this far out, all we can ask for.

Yeah down 3-1, up 4-3, BUF tied it up and then we lost in OT. That felt like a playoff game.

Gfs looks likes it’s phasing in the NS at 174 this run. Probably too far south but it looked close at H5.

It’s below freezing all the way down to 1000 mb. I’ll take my chances with that - GFS’ upgrade could be overdoing the warmth in boundary situations. But whatever, I’d even enjoy watching white rain in the patio lights.

Lots of spread/timing differences for the 10th on the GEFS. I count a few that have frozen for the area; majority favor a southern slider / OTS redeveloper. We track.

I have a hard time believing (based on the GFS OP depiction) that the 10th is snow to rain. Good track, 1039 HP over Ontario…

ICON gets some blue over much of the area Sunday night/overnight. Surface isn’t great but its something to track at least.

NFL needs to call the game. It’s insane the league gave them 5 minutes to warmup before both head coaches stepped in to go to the locker room.

Look on the bright side, we’re gaining over 40 seconds of daylight a day (a minute+ in less than a week). More time for outdoor activities in daylight
