Not to interrupt the NAM debate, but long range HRRR is pretty fookin’ sweet. Long range HRRR yadda yadda caveat...but if people were looking for something positive, there it is.
Considering this was rain a few days ago, I’ll take my sleet storm and be happy. Too much doom and gloom up in here. No wonder why tracking storms just isn’t fun anymore.
Pivotal has the Para out to Hour 42 (18z Thursday). DC looks to stay all snow through then. About 0.7” QPF has fallen.
Waiting for the rest of the run but seems like it will have the two wave idea too.
NW folks...it’s okay. We can be ok with less QPF because we will score with orographic lift, banding, and better ratios.
Oh and the top of the hill adds another 3” in every storm.
