    We are putting our place in Fairlington on the market in a month or so and moving to a single family home in Arlington or Alexandria. High on the list is a good sized backyard so I can have a vegetable garden. Mattie, I’ll be reaching out to you for some advice on gardening!

    Light snow and 22 degrees with winds gusting to 20 out of the NW. Picked up 1.2” so far tonight. Over 10” since Friday afternoon.

    Agree with you based on that H5 look. But the theme this winter has been to mute the cold shots so I’d air on that side when it comes to future cold.

    Great picture! I’m pretty sure I drove by your neck of the woods this morning (took the long scenic way coming back from Lowe’s in Oakland) as I saw a few ice fishers out on one of the coves. Yeah, latest from LWX has 6-8” through Wednesday which would be fantastic. I’ve gotten 9” since Friday afternoon’s snowfall....a great stretch of winter here.

    Nice to see the snow covered lake considering the disaster last winter was here (relatively speaking). This winter has been good as we should have over 50” for the season by Wednesday. We’re heading to Honi Honi this afternoon. 27/SN and pretty, fluffy dendrites.

    Picked up another 0.4” so far. SN and 27.

    Snow showers developing this afternoon in more frequency (had about 3-4 rounds move through this morning). LWX has 4-6” additional accumulation through tomorrow morning for McHenry. and your 3.2” seems spot on. I measured again last night at a few places around my house and had 3” on the nose and I’m at 2800’ down past the college.
