We have a few friends and family members who are also choosing not to get the vaccine (at least not yet). While I’m fully vaccinated and my partner is getting his first this week, I’m not one to judge or question someone’s decision not to get it. It’s your personal choice and I think we’d all be better off respecting each other whether you agree or disagree with their choice. Thanks for sharing your perspectives.

I wonder what this week's cold snap Wed night/Thursday morning does to the emergence. If anything, would just be a short delay I'd assume.

As of this morning, according to the WSJ: 25.4% of the US population is fully vaccinated with 40% given at least a dose At least one dose - VA 42.1%, MD 42.7%, DC 40.9% Full dose - VA 26.6% (including 66% aged 65+), MD 27.8% (69% aged 65+), and DC 23.5% (56% 65+)

We went to St Lucia in November and we just needed to show a negative test to enter the country (and do daily temperature checks at the resort). I’d imagine the small island countries who had those requirements would likely just remove the test requirement with proof of vaccination.

The 2nd shot did a number on me yesterday. Basically slept on the couch all day — aches, fever, chills, etc. Back to normal today. and happy I’m vaccinated! I had to go into our office today to host a few clients in a workshop - first time in person since last March. Definitely felt ‘weird’ seeing co-workers in person but wearing a mask for 10 straight hours is enough to make me not want to go back in person until mask requirements are lifted haha.
