So anyways.
We did a free trial for Discovery+ to watch Resurrection over Easter weekend (very good btw). Well....I’ve gotten suckered into keeping it beyond the free trial as I cannot get enough of endless HGTV programming.
If you’re a glutton for home improvement shows, stay away from Discovery+
Was that Moderna? I got my 1st Moderna last month - no symptoms beyond a typical sore arm but then a week later developed “COVID arm” - rash, itchy, swollen that lasted 24 hours. I get my 2nd Moderna tomorrow and I’ve heard the side effects of that are a doozy....knocked out for 1-2 days basically.
Ban worthy.
The problem with chilly, drizzly days in April means we will literally flip from 55 to 85/humid. Give me sustained seasonal in April (60s/70s) and “boring”.
We're doing some major renovations right now and I was chatting with our GC and the electrician the other day. The electrician was basically saying the same thing about price increases, particularly over the last month or so which have been the highest he can remember. He's been forced to pass most of those increases down to customers since he couldn't afford to take that kind of hit. Hopefully as the supply chain returns to normal, we see prices for raw materials come back to earth.
I’ll let you know how it is! I’m sure its going to be a hit given the location. That sounds like a great day...it’d be great to do some IPA/beer/etc sampling sometime in Old Town!
Looking forward to the warm weather next week to try out Barca Pier and Wine Bar, which opened today in Old Town Alexandria right on the river.

Same here, I wasn't buying the totals on those but it's legit pouring here. I had to take the dog to the vet in Vienna around lunch and the drive back on 66/Beltway was dicey between construction on 66, traffic, and pouring rain.
