Latest NAM seems to be doing the best picking out the more elevated spots seeing some measurable snow. If it is correct it looks like most spots from 500ft to 800 ft ASL from NW Chesco/SE Berks and northeast thru Lehigh/Bucks/Montco could see 1" to 2" of slushy accumulation with the amounts ramping up pretty quickly once above 1k feet and up toward the Poconos etc.

Euro comes in with up to a few inches of model snow that we will never shovel as far south as NW Chester County- Quite the model event for the Poconos

Always good to see the German with a snowy solution....boundary layer will of course be a wee bit of a problem - but as always a little elevation may allow some on here to see their first measurable of the season.

Today will be our last sunny day of the work week. We stay mild with highs well into the 50's both today and tomorrow before a shift to chillier air, much needed significant rain and even some snow depending on elevation across the County by Friday. Rainfall amounts could reach near 1 inch across the area - which would be our wettest stretch since the event since the 1.48" of rain that fell between September 25th thru 28th.

Today will be our warmest day of the week with temperatures in the mid 60's for highs. We will turn slightly cooler tomorrow before a sharper change to colder by Wednesday night through the rest of the week. Our best chance of significant rain looks to arrive Wednesday night with as much as an inch in some lucky spots! Shower chances will continue through the end of the week, and we may even see some snow mixing in across some spots on Friday. Temperatures on Friday may not escape the 30's in higher locations.

We should continue to see temperatures well above normal in the upper 50's to low 60's through midweek before a change to below normal temps to finish out the work week. We have a good chance of some rain from Wednesday night into Thursday...all fingers and toes crossed!

Dry and windy today with temps well into the 50's to near 60 degrees. A Red Flag Warning is in effect through today so outdoor burning is not recommended. We stay mild through Wednesday and then chill to below normal levels and see shower chances increase Wednesday night through the end of the work week.

In addition to most of Chester County getting some light rain last night and into this AM - there was also some snow mixed in for a time. Here in East Nantmeal we received 0.04" of rain with the most I could find being the 0.11" up at Warwick Park. We start a slow moderating trend that will last through midweek next week before we turn much chillier by late week. Our next chance of rain and maybe even some wet snow will be Wednesday night into Thursday.

Clouds increased overnight allowing temperatures to rise a bit as we moved toward dawn. These same clouds will cap high temperatures today to the upper 40's in most spots across Chester County. Showers will try to move in from the west....but will weaken due to strong high pressure to our northeast and our very dry air mass. The best chances for any showers will be in Southern Lancaster county and down in Maryland. We then see a gradual warming trend that will end abruptly by later next week. Much chillier air moves in at that time and should last right through the end of November.

Today was the first day that all locations were below freezing. Here in East Nantmeal Township our low of 27.4 degrees marks the latest first freeze in the last 21 years. The previous latest was November 12, 2016. We should see below normal temperatures through Friday before we warm to slightly above normal by the weekend. We have a slight chance of showers tomorrow night especially the further southwest you go in Chester County.

Our high temperatures for today occurred overnight before the cold front passed through earlier in the morning. Temperatures will remain in the 40's for highs through Thursday before we start a slow moderating trend toward the weekend. Most spots, even higher spots like here in East Nantmeal should see their first freeze of the autumn season tonight. Our only shot at rain looks to be Thursday evening.

Temperatures both Wednesday and Thursday will see high temperatures remaining in the 40's in the higher spots and low 50's in the valley locales. Most lower spots across the area were again well down into the 20's for overnight lows. Here in East Nantmeal we could go no lower than 36.6 degrees. We have yet to experience a freezing temperature here in EN....if we can make it through Wednesday this year would be the latest first freeze in the 21 years I have been at this location. Clouds are on the increase, and we will finally see our first widespread rain since September 29th across the area. The rain should start from west to east around the 7pm hour and be over before the Monday morning rush hour. Be careful if you are out driving this evening as rain will be falling on roads that have quite a bit of built-up oil and leaves. Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week with highs back into the mid 60's but by Wednesday higher spots in the county will struggle to escape the 40's for high temperatures and we could see a pretty solid freeze by Wednesday AM.
