  1. Always love when the media makes a huge deal about playing football in the cold. These guys are fine.
  2. Fresh car topper achieved at sapwood.
  3. This is fairly accurate. Especially for the hazy ipas.....other half, fidens, treehouse, beer tree, finback, etc all make great hazies that are fairly interchangeable. Even locally here in central md, breweries like sapwood and crooked crab are putting out high abv (>7%) hazies that are right up there with the "more prominent" breweries. Where i find the most noticeable difference in quality is with barrel aged stouts. Not as many putting out ba stouts that I'll go out of my way to buy.
  4. Rain. Not surprised. Very little in any consistency in guidance that showed accumulating snow outside the favored far north regions.
  5. Really don't see anything supporting the WWA esp west of the bay or the earlier map showing places west of the bay getting 2-4.
  6. I’m starting a gofundme for my February BGE bill. WTAF
  7. Looks sexy for my visit to Canaan next weekend
  8. PSA for the columbia/bmore crew.....Sapwood has 3 new BA Stouts out today.
  9. I'm in Denver. Still can't find snow. Lol.
  10. And if you don't like hobbies, set aside 2 weekends during the winter and drive to canaan/deep creek/snowshoe when the conditions are good out there. Getting that "fix" usually helps a lot.
  11. Agreed. This place isn’t the same without his 1000 word responses and childish rants.
  12. Nice one! My trio tonight has been.... Toppling Goliath Seismic Sue, Alchemist Focal Banger, and Prairie Ales Bourbon Barrel Weekend.
  13. Should be a decent cycle for the spine. And good timing in relation to the holiday for the ski areas.
  14. Blackwater will be fine regardless of snow depth. I've been up there w 2-3 ft of snow depth and while the roads can be snow packed, they are drivable. There will be no driving access to dolly sods. The FS roads that provide direct access are closed in the winter. You may want to look into going to whitegrass ski area and paying their small day use fee for hiking and snowshoeing. You can hike up above 4000ft and when you're done, get a hot meal at their hut at the base.
  15. Ringing in the new year with renewed hope for the white stuff piling up in our yards. LFG!
  16. This was really moisture starved for our area. Most stations reporting less than .10. Ended up being largely a non issue for most.
  17. There actually was ocean effect snow for parts of LI. That’s a real thing. As for nyc, Central Park recorded 4.3”. On the lower end of what they expected but not a total catastrophe.
  18. Where? Both of the 68/219 traffic cams show traffic moving at speed.
