  1. Yes, very stupid. I hope they open the greenhouses back up in May.
  2. I totally understand what you say. My problem is we plant now, have every year, in our greenhouse. I was called Saturday to come in and get what they had for me that finally came in m for the Disabled Vet I care for. I saw all the plants and seeds and no sign, no nothing to say I couldn't get it. I wasn't told that I couldn't get it from the manager who was standing right there, but from the cashier. The tomato, strawberry, broccoli, and seeds we needed are all a no. When this is where we get our food from it is a real worry!
  3. They need to recall her! I am a caregiver for a disabled vet and help with his elderly parents. We all grow gardens. Imagine my surprise going in today and found I couldn't buy anything! Yesterday I could buy seeds and various vegetable plants, but no hoses, potting soil, etc. Thank goodness for the cashier who said, "So fire me. Am I supposed to remember all 20,000 items we can't sell?". Why is she shutting down garden centers? This is how we survive out here.
  4. Winter storm watch canceled for me in Lapeer county, MI and Ice Storm Warning instead
  5. How do you get the counties and totals??? I've looked and looked, but can't find them!
  6. I won't care if it's an inch or 10". Either way my dogs are going to love it, and I get to watch it falling down and piling up!
  7. DTX here, too, but we are being told a little over 2", and we're in Lapeer county up near Genessee/Tuscola county line.
  8. I would like to see Michigan, too. Thanks in advance.
  9. A solid 2" expected this morning and switched to snow, rain, freezing rain, not particularly in that order. Please no more freezing rain! I have fallen more times these last 3 weeks than ever before!
  10. Well this is interesting. Was supposed to have a low of 3 and start to rise to 6 by 5 am. We are at -3 right now.
  11. I wanna see anyhow! Lapeer County Michigander with a NWS call of 7", so should I be looking at more or less?
  12. Mine went from 6 to 5 in Columbiaville. I'll take it. Dogs will love plowing through it.
  13. Thank you very much. It started snowing here in Columbiaville around 3:30 and we have a light dusting on the ground now at 5:45.
  14. I have a really stupid question here...I have been watching radar when I can and the last half hour especially. The whole system looks like it is getting smaller, but according to NOAA, the system is going to head north of 69 later on. Is the system heading east it north? I am lost.
  15. Yeah, I know. Just ticks me off, but hey, more maple syrup can be made.
  16. Making maple syrup out in the open with a cold wind, but dry as can be here in Columbiaville.
  17. In the last 2 days they stayed on the low end of guidance, so just makes me want to say, why? South of 69 ended up giving me just over 10" and today was forecast for 1 and got 3. Not complaining, but just wondering.
  18. I'd like to know why RAP and HRRR shows upwards if 5-6" in our area, NOAA has a WWA but is forecasting 2". Just this morning us was for 4". Their map has 4". Just so confused.
  19. Latest RAP has me getting 6 or 7"...I hope...lol. I know, I know, already had a tad over 10" then another 2-3" today, so who needs more? Well, this weather fanatic.
  20. Detroit has us for 1-3", but shows on that map 5-6".
  21. Waldo, loves playing in the snow! Ended up with just a tad over 10"
  22. According to NOAA, which didn't handle this one too good at all for us in Lapeer County, we are supposed to get less than an inch tomorrow and then around 2" on Sunday. Would be nice to see another good banding event over top of us, but don't think that will happen.
  23. Okay, so a question. This wave that just went through Mi, the next wave we etc barely anything and then Sundays wave 1-3"...am I reading that right?
  24. Here in Columbiaville, Lapeer County, just off Michigan 24, about 15 miles north of I-69we've had 9" so far. Coming down at a real good clip, too.
